Getting to grips with HDRI. An environment dome is created around the scene onto which the background image is displayed, which contains lighting information to ensure the scene is lit evenly in accordance with the backdrop.

Started back with the 3D software after a three year break.

My first attempt at a full scene.

Previous shots have been single characters rendered and then composited on a background.

Left this to render for 12 hours and it was still at only 21%.

Seems that the GTX1080 has only 8GBs of Vram and so Daz falls back to the CPU to render complex scenes.

I wonder how long it would take to render fully at this rate🤔
