Glasses camera bag in a damp location, this was a accidental scene while I was trying to get my camera working, I was in Chester shooting the Locks, the blue wood is the locks gate arm.

The Library bar, Norwich. Gives great bokeh!

I went up to see the Photo-ID exhibition at the Forum, have any of you other locals been? It was a thought provoking experience, possibly not for the reasons the artists intended.

Of particular note was a series of what looked like suburban hedges/ allotments, including one shot of ( i think ) the photographer's back garden. I tried *really* hard to figure out what made them exhibition-worthy, beyond being out of a large format camera so they could be blown up really big. I failed. Anyone who can educate me as to what i'm missing, please go right ahead :)

August bank holiday weekend I had another wonderful visit from my dear friend Bella and we had a great time!

Saturday daytime in town, a wander around the marina and Humber Street followed by delicious food at the Indoor Market Food Hall.

A fromer Delaine bus, this East Lancs bodied Volvo Olympian (R4 OCT) is now owned by Sleafordian, and is photographed at Lincoln on 6th August 2015. Not the best of compositons, but I was literally walking past and seemed to get rooted to the spot here, as a blue gap appeared in the sky, and a few Olympians passed me in a very short period of time. All the better looking spots nearby seemed to be in shadow! I will have to try again another day!

Hamamelis is a winter-flowering shrub, commonly known as witch hazel. Its spicy fragrance and spidery flowers in yellow, orange and reds make it a must for the winter garden.
