Our Daily Challenge - At Night
65:365
I suppose at night I eat supper . . . . . . . er ummmm, okay.
Not to fool anyone that I cooked this myself. TheStev definitely didn't marry me for any culinary skills - much more my sparkling wit and personality ;-)
Day 65:365: 2015
The weekly theme is lines
I thought I'd have another go at this idea, not as good as yesterday's, this one was a bit rushed but it fits the weekly theme. I'm really enjoying doing these.
Due to not having much time lately, i have been rushing my photos just so i can continue with the 365 challenge, So tonight i made sure that i found the time and went for a walk along the Shropshire Union Canal in Chester and this is the end result.

Today, I got a haircut, although you can't really see in this...
Hung out with Paulina and we went to the park again,
Self timers are very annoying yet fun to work with at the same time x]
Wow, my arms look tan, while my legs are white o_O lol
for a game on my phone !
I am uploading it to 365:2019 because I was suffering too much to take my own photo for the day Day65
"Like a Bridge over Troubled Water" by Simon & Garfunkel"
Playing around with Photoshop today. Well... I have 300 days!!
For Day 65 of 365. And for TRP "WTF" day. And for FGR "Tell me a story" day. And for Today's Random Fact. And maybe for lyrics...we'll see when I get to the end here...
dragonfly inspired me to make this a WTF shot, because I hadn't thought about that. But it totally makes sense! Cause seriously, WTF was I thinking?
Today's fact AND the tell me a story dealio (I'm a multi-tasker): I absolutely adore interacting with the public as part of my job. It just feeds me. When I was a reporter, I loved being able to get out and meet people and do things and be a part of the community. When I became an editor, those opportunities were diminished some. So to make up for it, I ramped up my community involvement. I've always enjoyed that kind of thing, but I love it more now. I go to schools and do career days, I'll wear the mascot uniform for work at hockey games, do the March of Dimes stuff...all kinds of things. Today, got to judge the county's spelling bee championship round. It was a lot of fun. Got to see some fun kids that are wicked smart. And we sent a pretty talented speller off to the national championships that you'll see on TV. (You actually don't get to see the first two days where they eliminate the crap out of so many of them.) Anyway, this was me on the way there this morning.
As a side note, I think I look WAY better in this than I do in that god-awful suit from yesterday!
OK, here's some mood-based lyrics too...
*****
"Watch This" by Clay Walker
If you've never felt what happens when two hearts
Fall together
Or never seen love written in the stars
And knew it was forever
If you dont believe that destiny
Can start with just one wish
Watch this
I'll show you love like you've dreamed of
I've got so much to give
Watch this
Dont be afraid, you'll be amazed
At all the ways that I can
Show you what you've missed
Just close your eyes
And watch this
A broken heart cant always live in fear
Afraid to fall
I can make those feelings disappear
In no time at all
If you wanna feel the world stand still
From the magic of one kiss
Watch this
I'll show you love like you've dreamed of
I've got so much to give
Watch this
Dont be afraid, you'll be amazed
At all the ways that I can
Show you what you've missed
Just close your eyes
And watch this
The theme was to look all around us, so I have looked from left to right and used the panorama option on the basic iPhone camera app, and I am pleasantly surprised, having not used this function on this app before I think it does a really good job. Obviously it has had a little enhancing in lightroom to make the colours pop a bit more:)
This is a double made in photoshop from two essential identical photos, but one was flipped horizontally and then the screen blend mode was used. Really more of an accident that it looks as cool as it does. At least I think it looks cool. Can you see the dude's face in the clouds?

Day 65
Just fooling around with a hair picture - flipping my hair up. The camera caught quite a bit of the red that's in it!
Day 65 of 365 in the life of Jenna.
I've been dying inside,
Little by little,
No where to go,
But going out of my mind
In endless circles,
Running from my self

I like upcycle old box cameras, use and sell them for decorative purposes like re-enactment or photography props, ornaments and displays... I think there is a certain retospective beauty to them...
The morning after I conquered my fear...we rowed to the island in a 2 seat ocean kayak...it was terrifying, but amazing!

I'm not sure where all the googly eyes have got to since Halloween. I wanted to cover a sheet of paper in them but they seem to have gone into hiding.
This wasn't going to be my photo of the day but haven't got anything better so have amended this one.
A year ago today I took a random photo.
feeling ok today - just playing around with this pic in picasa.I think it would have been more dramatic if I hadn't been smiling. Then again, who knew I would be lighting myself like a banshee when I took it?
I am a study in contrasts.

I set the timer to take a photo in two seconds.
And then.. I ran.
Flattering? No. Fun? Oh yeah.
My day was spent trying to find the bunnies for photos.
I did not leave much time for me to take a photo of myself.
Thus.. the two second dash.
Ahh time and time again, it is my accidental shots that I end up using. For the longest time today I couldn't figure out what to do and was just going to post a very typical portrait shot when I randomly opened my curtain and hit the shutter. Lo and behold, I liked the result much better than everything else I had tried earlier!
Thank you to everyone who has visited my stream recently. Your kind words really made my day. I am genuinely floored. :)
