47/365 -Around the house - Day 47
---------------------------------------------------
It's that time of year when some things get used more than others.
Rideau Falls. I showed you a micro view, a macro view, and now a more global contextual view. They are still frozen, but soon enough they will be melted, giving us all new possibilities.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day! I got to have breakfast with my dad, lunch with my father-in-law and then spend time with my step-dad at my uncle's BBQ. I'd say it was a pretty good day.
day 47... so much better large!
The only good thing about the snow.. it is awesome to take photos in.. the light reflects off the snow.. which in turn gets rid of those black circles under my eyes.. going to take more today at lunch time.. got my snow boots and everything!! Hope you have a great PHat Tuesday!!
There are days that I truly believe that we were meant to
live here just to be able to witness the beauty of a sunset.

47/365 -Around the house - Day 47
Again, had no idea what to shoot for today, was thinking about it on the way home.. trying to find something interesting.. stopped at a couple of spots, didn't get inspired so kept moving... at the same time, I'm getting closer and closer to home.. was at a stop light waiting to turn left when I saw these.. didn't think of anything at first, but then the light and the oddity really struck me and took a quick shot. Yep. Only one. Why?? I don't know... glad it came out okay, else I'd still be searching for my shot for today!
Tomorrow is another day..
Thanks for your visit and comments.. and yes, keep those constructive comments coming.. I always welcome and appreciate it.
All time inspiration low... Moped all evening wondering what I should shoot for the day's self... Ended up with a kinder surprise in my mouth...
I'm not even hungry!!

This is my new picture for my 365 project for the weekly theme "reflections".
Another great skiing day; perfect sunny weather, powder snow and a fine temperature - does it get any better than that?
Here's my outtake for today [https://www.flickr.com/photos/donlunzo16/16525774816/]
Captured with a Nikon Df and a manual Nikkor Ai 50mm ƒ1:1.2 with a 3 x ND Filter, post processed in Lightroom using VSCO Film.

Gotcha Betty......in the mirror again. You're so vain...
I had to thank Betty, though, for coming to my aid tonight. At the highpoint of this move, pushed for time and need to get it done. She came to my rescue in a pinch for today's photo. Not a lot of time for being creative. Enjoy!
Thank you for your visit, faves and comments.
My Dad bought a couple of spare bulbs the other day, one of them being this one which I reckon looks pretty cool. With that noted I then decided I’d use it to get some practice in with my studio lighting. It’s not perfect but not too bad an effort for a first go.
Strobist Info:
Yongnuo Speedlite YN560 IV 1/128 35mm placed under table and aimed at the wall behind the bulb.

i love my new camera, cardigan with space invaders on >;D and shirt. :D:D and shorts that you can't see.
I also love sheridan for getting me a tripod for christmas. No more using books, chairs, suitcases and other bits and bobs as a tripod. Big love to sheridan!<3
Day 47/365: 2015
For the weekly theme - reflections.
Sorry, I seem to be sticking with the low key theme too but, once again, it's such a miserable dark wet day so I thought I may as well...and I'm enjoying doing them. Hope it's not getting tiresome!
I'm a bit behind in getting around to viewing and commenting, hope to catch up soon.

For February’s Alphabet Fun and for We're Here - pretty little things
My mom gave me this a really long time ago. Maybe in the 70s? I can't remember. But through many, many moves, I have protected it carefully, and marveled that it survived being packed up and transported so many times. I love it so much. I wonder if I ever told her.
Put some zing into your 365! Join We're Here!
So there's this thing called "Love Is The Movement" sponsored by "To Write Love On Her Arms" (if you don't know what this is, you should look it up. it's a really good organization)
On February 13 they are asking people to write "love" on their arms (in sharpie or pen) because the day before valentine's day is the day out of the year with the highest suicide rate.
It's an really good idea and seeing it made me think about my friends who I've helped that would benefit from such a simple act.
To read the back story go to:
That's all for today, but just wanted to get that out there and feel like maybe I'm doing a small something for someone, somewhere.
A little pink and bloodshot after looking into a bright light for the 100 attempts as I tried to get it right.
I tried various things, this was a 55mm lens at f8 with 3.5cm of extension tube.

perchè io quando studio mi impegno :P
no, è che la semiotica letteraria io la odio proprio, perciò perdo tempo scarabocchiando sugli appunti. ovvio, no?
non ci avevo tempo per una fotA megliA, sorryme :°(
I should have studied, but I hate literary semiotics sooooo much, so I wasted my time doodling on the notes :P
too busy for taking better shots today. so sorry :°(

Day 47 out of 365 self portraits and I'm still dealing with those kidney stones. The pain is as big as my mouth in this picture... lousy deal.
Really struggled for any kind of motivation for a shot today, wishing I hadn't started this 365, I have however wanted to do a shot like this for ages, needless to say it didn't turn out anywhere near like the shot I had in my mind, one speed light with a 1/8 honeycomb grid and 50mm f1.4 @ f2.
