I went to a Strobist meet up today, pretty neat, I'd say but it was more fun just to be in the same area as people whom share the same passion as me.

to my flickr friends who love starbucks here's to you!

I would've liked to have gotten out and tried my hand at some more landscape photography today but Storm Dennis is being a bit of a menace at the moment. I think I'll wait until it's a bit drier outside.

Happy Valentine's Day! I really wanted to use Sweethearts for last year's 365 but I was in India sooo better a year-late-than-never :) (last year was batman)

Day 46 - cable...

Another day I went out (this time with a CF Card) and it didn't worked out the way I wanted to. I waited an hour for the sun to go down and then the sky wasn't looking good any more... I'm gonna get the shot I'm looking for, so let's try it again tomorrow.

Okay, so I felt like getting a bit goofy today. This is much harder than I thought it was!! I'm basically holding up the spoon with my lips, too.

There are a lot of tunnels in Northern Italy.

Day 46 2015

Gorgeous sunny day here and the bugs are out sunbathing getting warmed up ready for the six nations rugby!

WOW... let me say that this was one of the hardest days to both title and push away the tablet and say I’m done. I could have worked on this for days! I’m so picky and detailed that the smallest thing would drive me crazy. I’ve never created a sky from scratch. I wanted to take the viewer away from the ordinary. I don’t live near mountains. In fact... the highest elevation in my town is the city dump! This was photographed under a bridge on a lonely road parallel to the FL turnpike. Jenna volunteered for Day 46 early on and the theme just formed over several hours.

I’ll continue this on my blog... give me at least 45 min

Signs of spring (an additional theme for Laura Orban's Birthday!), even though I live where it's summer all year round. It's a chilly 62 and rainy

February 15th. I had a lovely day in Penzance today. In between work stuff I was able to go and admire St Michaels Mount as well as get a run in. I took so many great pics today. So i have cheekily uploaded three. One for my 365 ( theme unfocussed) - this one. One for the 52-2013 (rotation) and one for my other 52s.

This cactus i saw at a nearby florist today.

Again a picture with the so called 'Orton Effect' for the 'focus pocus' theme this week.

Hope you like the photo.

This is probably the most frustrating pic of the project so far. The dominoes always seem to wait until you put the last one in place before falling over...

Day46-What I see

Feb 15 2012

This is actually a pretty accurate description on what I see right now...

When I should be focusing on other things all I could concentrate on is photography and cameras. Reaching out for something that may be a long shot but I know in the end it will all be worth it.

Just got to trust myself and hold on to my dreams. To finally see myself as an established artist and photographer

Ahh getting the angle of the camera right on the ground was such a bitch. I always envision these things so differently from what I am actually able to produce (frustration!). In any case, I was listening to this old Switchfoot song on the way home, and it inspired this piece. :)

Impression of me.

Saw thousands of crows on my run home tonight. They were all heading downtown to their usual roosting spot.

Sorry for being such a lousy flickr mate, but I off for a few skiing days in the Swiss Alps. Catching up your streams in the next days.

First real snowfall in Oakville today. It’s been a very untypical winter in Southern Ontario.

Shot on iPhone 6.

We ducked down to Burleigh for a swim today and had a great time. While we were swimming, the sun was out. When it came to photos, the sky clouded over to give a bit of drama to the photos. Win win. And to my flickr mates in Canada/US where it's freezing - should have been here today, the water was beautiful. :-)

A photo composite I constructed today to represent this flighty feeling that I’ve been having. It feels like I’m falling through space at times and can’t control anything that is around me or in my life. It’s as if I’ve been placed on some trajectory that is as strong as gravity. I cannot defy it, and I cannot move from it. It’s hard to tell whether this brings me satisfaction in life or joy, and whether this brings me towards what many would call soaring, or if I’m not flying at all and just tumbling towards destruction.

Two lanes cross in the old part of Limburg/Lahn called "Altstadt". Very narrow! In the middle is a little mail cart - this is how the Deutsche Post delivers mail.
