i'm way ahead of schedule on this.
looking forward to my favourite season. here in England at the moment some days feel rather like autumn is already in the air ♥

I like to play around with light, while taking my macro shots. For this photo the lights and the shadows are really strong in B&W.
I didn't think my meandering aroud town would have clocked 1,000 km since last September. I reached 5,000 while on tour in Italy last year. But here we are at 6,000+ km - and the season hasn't even started yet.

Like, FUTAB'ing at the age of 22. Or being 22 on a Friday. Or any day. Ever. Again.
I know, it's not an important birthday. It's not 21, not 25, not 30... But, it just makes me stop and think. Remind myself to appreciate everything and everyone, all of the beauty, the small things, like laying in the grass in August wearing plaid and corduroys with barefeet and watching the stars and listening to the cicadas and crickets and my dogs barking at the window because they want to make sure I'm okay, because they know about the deer who wants me dead, because they love me and I look peaceful but I could've been mauled by the deer when they weren't looking and they are concerned. And I love run-on sentences.
Have you ever noticed how many circles there are inside an LED torch? Tried to capture them, but I think they turned out more like little globes......But at least the torch is a circle, right? LOL

Well, my current camera (Canon S50) is really on it's last legs now, although it's lasted me for a damn good 4 or 5 years.
Time to upgrade. I've saved up, called in early birthday money and stolen from the homeless and I should be able to stretch to getting and SLR from ebay, probably a Canon 350D or 400D which is VERY exciting.

Popped out first thing with the camera as there was a tree i wanted to shoot that i saw on the route out of my village on the way to whipsnade on saturday......
but.......
after uploading i wasn't all that happy with it but was quite taken with the bokeh coming from this barbed wire fence...
so my little cuties this is todays POTD.. X

BlindSpot and I have been talking about working w marble. He has made some really gorgeous carved marble pieces recently.
I picked up this chunk from my nieghbors garden bed :)
It is very soft and chalky? and others are more like agate and are too hard to grind. This piece is sparkly. So I guess I learned from this experiment that not all white "garden" marble is from the same vein :)

I got this idea from some others similar in fashion and from Boheme333's Day 20 post. I didn't have any of the answers to her questions. One line in her post got the old creative gears rolling though. So this is a little visual response (and a fun little photo edit) to I am blind to the truth and I don't know how to open my eyes.
