“Women need real moments of solitude and self-reflection to balance out how much of ourselves we give away.”
This photo says it all, and I know many moms (AND Dads) out there can relate :) Balancing work, exercise, kids, housework...you name it...

Day 27 - January = Red
Ok, the locals will know that it's not been raining here today, so this one is faked (hosepipe in the garden). But I wanted to do a red umbrella shot and we are running out of days in January. Best start thinking pink for Feb.

My 365 Project Album: The 2013 Edition.
After all the snow this week it was great to wake to a dry, sunny and relatively warm day. Just had to drive to the beach.

day twenty seven! (:
yeah, i think i'll use this one for today. haha, i had so much fun doing this. eyeshadow (or rainbow war paint xD ) is from coastal scents and lip gloss is from yes to carrots. neither companies test on animals, so makeup&animal lovers should check 'em out!
Travelled down to Shellharbour for work this morning, so whilst I was in the area I couldn't resist taking a shot or two of that brilliantly clean clear water ... summer in Sydney does have the odd benefit or two
Lockdown Day 27
National Tea Day, well, techinically, it was yesterday, but that was in the UK so that makes me not too late 😏
I thought I'd crack out the china for this cuppa 'cos, seriously, there should be a compulsory tea day every week and just so you know, it’s gotta be @yorkshiretea and @bysarasmith cups 😉

I was actually about to post a different picture for today but glanced up and saw the rain dancing on one of my windows with a lovely golden hue so I decided to switch gears. No tripod and it is a little off kiltered but I am still generally happy with it..Dried up flower shots can wait another day or two :)
This is the replacement and alternative to what I posted earlier for February 25th.

I stated that I wanted to quit my 365 project before. Now I want to turn into the vines and ivy which creep against the wall. I feel ready to reincarnate.
I want to thank Luis, sheenacv, and halgil for their kind comments and advice on the earlier picture. I will consider taking up a couple of FGR themes and continue with this project. Thanks guys, I'll visit your streams and upload today's shot after I do my homework.
Wall/creeper texture is my own.

Today's such a miserable grey day. Got nothing usable down at the beach so created a little bit of colour in the studio. I collected a variety of leaves to attempt to freeze for Macro Mondays but this one looks great as it is.
27/365 She Loves You - yeah, yeah, yeah, yee-e-eah! ~ The Beatles
Singing some classics with old friends never gets old. And there are too few shots of Domo with microphone. Plankton sings phenomenally (or rather, Mr. Lawrence, who's voicing him).

PS. You can actually deduce the whole lighting setup form the highlights on the thing that Plankton is sitting on. I wonder how many people actually notice what it is ;)
UPD: *** EXPLORE FRONT PAGE! *** Thank you!
I was nervous about posting my previous portrait, and was bolstered by the responses.
Part of why I wanted to do this 365 project (the biggest part) was to learn to see myself in new ways and to not only accept but love the way I look. My face and my body. Every part of me.
Roads are the veins of a nation.

There is just something incredibly sweet about Bunny, and I feel so lucky that she chose me from the very beginning. Those sharp sighthound eyes can see for over a mile, and straight into your heart. For me, she's like a rose without thorns!

Now that Christmas is well and truly over and all the goodies are gone, it's back to the simple pleasure of dunking a digestive biscuit in a cup of coffee.
This is also for #62 of 114 pictures in 2014 "Cup or Mug".
And for #87 of 100 pictures in 2014 "Cookie".
Many things in life come unexpectedly. Without warning, and in a complete surprise the most overwhelming things and difficult tasks to try and handle arrive. Everyone needs an element of personal responsibility, but I am assured that for there are just things we do not have control over. It's as if we are approached blinded, without any eligibility to actually see what is coming. It may not be fair, and it may be a difficult snare to break out of, but it does happen and usually without any explanation.
Day 27/365:2015
For the weekly challenge, within the 365, abstraction.
This is an abstract of a beaded canvas that I made, the colours are actually pinks and purples but since this was taken in artificial light and I had inadvertantly got WB on custom, the colours are totally different. Oh well, it's all I've got time for so am posting it anyway.
I'm not around much for the next couple of weeks so I'm afraid I will probably have to post my daily pic and run. I'll catch up as soon as I can though.
