I was cleaning the downstairs loo when I heard a rumbling noise and then the floor felt spongy, I just had time to jump on the loo before my floor vanished.
Good builders are hard to find these days.
It is too early for autumn leaves here, but you can see the beautiful yellow leaves in the sunlight when looking up.

Haven't done a mosaic in a while...at one point it seemed like I did them all the time. ;-)
View On Black • A tribute to my friend Miz J. (pour toi cocotte) who is always so creative with makeup. It reminded me I used to do makeups for magazines, books and plays... No wonder I like Halloween so much.
The weather here just can't stop going from sunny to huge thunder storms, this was right after one this morning. And by he time I get this processed and do a few things, I can now hear the thunder again. CRAZY! So my makeup over-grew, like the plants... I think it wanted to meet my shirt ;)

(Unfortunately, there's still a bit more tube shots to come; the longer days were really affecting my judgement).

So I headed underground again today. Although this is a tunnel, it is not part of the tube network. It is the Greenwich Foot Tunnel which runs under the Thames River from Greenwich to the Isle of Dogs.

There have been a pair of Cape Barren Geese at Travis Wetland for a while now, but this morning I spotted four and there was a lot of territorial disputes between two of the birds.

Please excuse me flooding your contact stream with San Francisco photos. I'll pick my pic of the day when I get home and consult the editorial advisory board.
Shot on Sunday (Brisbane time).
My run took me along the bay. It was incredibly windy, so the head wind on the way out of my loop was a killer. I only planned to run 10km (given I had just got off the plane, I was still pretty dopey) - but stretched it out to a 14km run so I could tick this off.

Another first - visiting the Saatchi Gallery. I only managed to see the Selfie exhibition on the first floor but wow, it was well worth a visit.

day one-hundred-and-sixty. thuderstorm. view large on black after i took the photos for my project i sat down in the middle of it and just thought about life. but then my sister came running up to get me and told me to come downstairs because there was a tornado warning. there were three tornados in my city and two of them on my street. thankfully, i don't think it touched down, but not sure.
scary.
but i love thunderstorms so much.
It was a pretty warm weekend around these parts. Hot and muggy, so naturally the pool was the spot to be. I managed to get this pretty early in the day before all the people came over to the pool. Not bad for a sneak shot.
No...no, nothing there.. That must be why I have my creative sights back.
Just made a cool pitch for a commercial with magical fireflys and been out running with Cirkusprinsessen.
Very good day. I even got the looong needed haircut today.
May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day.
May songbirds serenade you every step along the way.
May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue.
And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.

It was one of the hottest spring days on record- 34 in the shade!!
