Just 'cuz the background is boring doesn't mean I have to pose boring, right? And yes, my headband DOES match my shoes! (Which is crazy, considering I bought them years apart at different stores)
So I was really bored today and I just started coloring. I haven't used crayons in a very long time so it was entertaining

What is cuter than 4-year-olds in caps and gowns? I used PSE to make the photo collages, then cut them out. The rub-ons are old Heidi Grace. I really like how they look, but when applying them I remembered why I don't do rub-ons much anymore. In our climate they dry out and can be hard to apply.
TFL!
Used "hexagons" at the suggestion of onlysleepn. And let me tell ya, I got this one in just under the wire. Part of the reason this photo is so horrible!!! It's crooked and horrible lighting -- but that sweet little girl in the photo woke up just as I was about to take the photo -- so I had to do it right quick and post it or it would've been late! ;-)
I was working on Utata's weekend project -- just black and white -- so I went with that for my sp today.
today was actually REALLY boring at school. My boyfriend camed at half past elleven or something. Was so amazing to see him again! Miss him so much, when he's not with me!
At the moment i'm sitting in a caucht(?) in Norway, at my moms house! Was so good to se her again! miss her so much!

finally! after a false start last week when he decided to stop breathing and kris hogging all the time this week ( in a good way, of course ), i thought i'd never get a chance to get some kangaroo care time in.
we spent two hours together.
Decided to get if off the shelf and clean it today. It needs fresh batteries, but I may run a roll through it this week end.

The Carl Sandburg College Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Women of Character (WOC) celebrated International Women's Day with cake and ice cream on Wednesday, March 8, in the Cultural Inclusion Center near the Student Center at the Main Campus in Galesburg.
he was quite content the entire time, save for every so often when he'd get squirmy and dig his tiny little fingers into my chest.
he didn't forget to breath the entire time, although i think i did occasionally.
Working Together: Taken from the courtyard of the Ronald McDonald House. I have been thinking of taking this photo for a few days, I just needed the time and right weather as in snow to cover up the brown dirt and green grass.....yes, you read that right. London still has green grass. Since I have been here the ground has changed from snow covered to green grass several times. Is it winter? Is it spring? Who knows?!!
Like the House logo, Ronald McDonald House and the Hospital are working as hard as they can for Bronwyn and us, her family, to get all of us through this. Everyone we have come in contact with in the Hospital and the House have been supportive. They have seen this all before. At the hospital they know how to take care of Bronwyn. At the House they know how to take care of us. It's remarkable team work.
The inukshuk was a pleasant surprise!
I felt like paying the drums tonight.
My husband now realizes that I am in fact - crazy. Good thing I didn't let that secret out before we got married!
Needed an extra layer of warmth on the way home from the yarn store, so I yoinked a sweater in Reynold's Whiskey (which is discontinued), and that would probably not fit anyone else who works at the shop.
I love Whiskey.
ah, the last day of school before thanksgiving break! i spent the entire day watching drama
they talk about how hot that particular summer was, and i remembered my own summer in korea a few years back
i remember being so thankful for it because that was such a hot summer. it was a bit cumbersome carrying it around everywhere, from the subways to taxis to the plane, but most everyone was carrying a fan around because of the weather
i distinctly remember going to the store and picking one out on the very first day i arrived in busan; jiyoung unne told me that i needed a fan so she took me to a store with a bunch on display outside. there were mostly bright pink, purple ones with sanrio or anime characters on them, but this one was my favorite. looking back, i think i would still have chosen that one if present me was in that store.
it's nice to know some things don't change.
Day 16
The little envelope is from my online photo developer. Inside I have a couple of library cards with postage stamps, address labels, and our list of people we mailed cards to this year. I blurred names and addresses for privacy reasons.
