[ Inspired by ClareC79 ] It's not easy being green.

I got my new wellies on and gave them a runout. Not sure I am fussed about this shot but... I am not ashamed of it so it passes that test! I write about my footwear so often, I expect this must seem like the secret diary of a rubbery boot. Sorry!

Nothing exceptional or even particularly interesting happened today. Nothing wrong with that I suppose. Too lazy to go anywhere so am leaving it until tomorrow night to drive out to the coast and watch the sun go down.

Just on the way back from here there was someone on the radio banging on about something being 'not fit for purpose'. I am not sure of its global travel, but this is one of the buzz words of the age. Along with everything being a solution. Pens are 'writing solutions'. I've never had any problem picking up the telephone, yet there are people out there trying to provide me communications solutions. Even dissolvable aspirin probably has 'headache solution solutions' on the label.

Anyway, 'fit for purpose' irritates me. I put on twitter when I got back a lame joke I thought up. It went like this: -

'I bought a new coat for my pet aquatic mammal today, but it was the wrong size. Turned out it wasn't fit for porpoise'.

Boom boom. Day 156 down.

Day 156: I found this list of photography ideas online geared for Project 365s. I can't say I've used any of the ideas yet, but at least it helped me out with today's shot.

Day 156/365

This is the Victoria Street façade of the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, also known as the St. Michael's Hospital research building. The puffy clouds seemed like they would work well with the reflective glass. I converted this to B&W and then used a blue tint to it.

Stay home, played games, and relaxed. Didn't do much because the weather was raining and windy. Didn't want to do nothing else except chill really. Yesterday I went to my homie Tommy's place to chill. Tommy ended up having an extra Disney Vinylmation San Francisco 49er's toy. That was the only one I needed since it was an online exclusive. Thanks again Tommy.

Like a freeform painting, Utzon’s masterpiece will glow with rich, continuously changing configurations of colour. Presented in association with Smart Light, the sails will remain lit for the three weeks of Luminous.

Explore, June 5 ... Page 1 at #3 ... very humbled, and thanks to everyone that looked :-)

Never have I ever scrambled around so quickly to get my camera gear. Spotted this little guy out on the field in front of the house and I just had to get a photo. Hopefully he reappears at some point and I get a chance to get a bit closer.

Day 156

There is an area in our backyard that I love at this time of the year. It is filled with beautiful white flowers all along our rock wall.

It's one of my favourite places to take pictures.

“Joy is the feeling of grinning inside.” Melba Colgrove

So today was a totally gorgeous day! The weather is much cooler and so nice. The sun is shining and the skies are blue. I saw a photo today and knew that when I got home I was going to make Todd do it with me. This is my Day 156 photo as well as my FGR photo. I loved the photo so much that I decided to make my tribute to katbphotos.

The weekend is almost here my flickr friends!!

Oh yea! And "G" is for Grin :) I love my hubby and he makes me grin all of the time!! "G" could also be for grass because I cannot believe how itchy my legs are after sitting in the grass for 5 minutes... dang!

Monday = Red for the new group Rainbow Week.

I so want to go back to bed right now.

I had crazy dreams all weekend.

I didn't get much sleep.

I had so much stuff to get done and had no time to do so.

.... and here we are at Monday again and I get home late every night this week.

Before I know it, weekend will be here again.

I really need to call in sick one of these days so I can have a day off.

If I can just make it a couple more weeks, I can do so.

Good morning Flickr friends.
