The greatest sweetener of human life is friendship

Your friendship is..

Richer than chocolates

More fun than ice cream

'oh' so sweeter than strawberries

Dessert for my soul!

Not a flower for a thank you dedication but serving the richest and sweetest dessert for the sweet testimonials you wrote for me. THANK YOU Lito, Fred, Kim and Augusta for the lovely words, truly appreciated.

Into the Light - Day 137 - Year 2022

Letter V - this might be a stretch but I have been struggling with ideas lately. Another rainy day, I ran out to take this during a clear moment after a rain shower.

Day 137 - 365/2023 - A Never-Ending Journey

137/365:2015

In the past, when staying in Florida, we always visited this store to pick up a present for our dogs. Sadly, this year we don't need to look for a doggy present. I am hoping it won't be too long before we rectify that.

i love the simplicity of this.

i didnt have any energy today..im getting sick :/

When I can't come up with something for my daily challenge and I'm a bit grumpy (ok a lot grumpy)

I can always rely on my animals to give me a pod.

They are my equivalent to socks.

Have an amazing weekend :)

137/365 -Around the house - Day 137

Day 137 of 365

I am hurting. Last night was a blast and I loved meeting all of my fellow local flickrites, but boy am I paying for it now! We all met at The Brewer's Art where I tried one of their house beers called Ozzy. It was a good beer, but at 7.25% alcohol by volume, the few that I drank (well probably a bit more than a few) killed me in the morning.

This shot was taken in the morning just after I got to work. It is now 1:30 and I am feeling a lot better. 8 cups of water, 4 asprin and lunch really helped a lot!

EDIT:

The culprit identified (I knew the devil had a hand in this LOL):

Ozzy

Our answer to the Belgian «devil» beers (i.e.

Lucifer, Duvel, etc.). Both rich and dry, this beer is

all too easy to consume in large quantities (YES, yes it was).

Hopped with Styrian Goldings.

Sorry if this is sideways or weird for some of you. I rotated it back to normal but somehow it ended up sideways on here- whatev!

Almost done with freshmen year. A lot of good memories. Barely any bad. I'm so glad that I spent the second half in my own room : ) hehe

Jon's parents came up today to help him move some stuff and then they took us to olive garden. The weather is gorgeous here. I got my first pedicure today, believe it or not. I wanted to treat myself to an end of the year reward or something like that, but Jon ended up buying it for me (trust me- we fought over this one for awhile, but he would not let it go so I gave in. Now I owe him big time!) I will put a pic of it up later.

Anyways, that's all I have for now. House tonight!!! Last time watching it in the dorms :(

Have a nice day!

Explored!

A bit of ultra-wide angle fish-eye lens woodland madness for a Sunday stroll. The 15mm Sigma DG EX has a 180° field of view so it makes for an amusing shot when lying on the forest floor.

Really this is just a test of my replacement remote shutter release and timer: you can set it to delay taking the shot for any amount of time, in this case 1 second then JUMP! (Unfortunately the old remote kit met with an accident during my recent graveyard night shoot.)

Wish you were here.

With your car.

So we can get the fuck outta here!

Been working away for a couple of days in Manchester - which meant a stopover last night. Here I was settling into the Didsbury Travel Inn.

This is my new picture for my 365 project and for the weekly theme "Changes".

This pic is for my own challenge too. Love to find any rubbish and place it somewhere new.

What a busy week, I'm so sorry for not commenting your streams - catching up as soon as possible...

So, I couldn't think of anything to take a picture of today....I left early this morning to go to a "friends" house & was just distracted all day. Not good for a 365 project. Anyway, I got home & went in the freezer to grab some ice & BAM...Vanilla Oreos! YAY! I bought a bag of Oreos like a month and a half ago & saved these 6 & put them in the freezer as I made myself promise that I wouldn't buy anymore for quite a while! LOL!

Hope everyone's day is going well! :o)

Lunch is served. This young Loggerhead Shrike was just given a big juicy grasshopper by it's mom (see top barbed wire). I think she hung around to make sure he ate it all :)

For my ongoing bird-a-day project for 2017. Thanks all!

My bestest friend Gabi wanted me to do another thrill ride, I thought skydiving would be good but I forgot my chute, won't be trying that again in a hurry.

Couldn't let the garden macro week go by without a macro mono dandelion. Shot this early morning with some great low sunlight.
