Perhaps I should have tried some green makeup.
I am starting to think ... that if I do a second year of 365, perhaps i will do a "world through my eyes every day for my 365" ...

Update: to all the TACWD folk ...the assignment said to show what we could do with the color green. i thought about taking photos of green houses and green paint and green nature, etc... and decided to simply go with my green eyes. nothing more than that. i do realize that i could have done this differently, but opted against it. thanks for your input though :)

Miss A is all about dancing lately & needed to break out into a dance in the middle of pics yesterday. She told me to wait.. Did some dancing, then said, "I am ready." those pics to follow later :)
Note: there was no music playing, she is just dancing to the beat of her heart (and mine) :)
North end of Boston is synonymous to Italian heart of town. The neighborhood has managed to preserve its identity while expanding its repertoire to include the upscale and trendy. Eating well is a hallmark of the North End. You may spend a little or a lot but you won't be hungry when you leave.

After a long day at work, there was nothing Jo liked more than a quick game of tennis, changing into some smart clothes and jewellery, and passing the time ironing whilst wearing inappropriate shoes.

I wish trees could talk. Call me mentally deranged or out of my mind, I would love having a conversation with one. Think of all the things they've seen, all the possible places they've been. For me, it would be like talking to Christopher Columbus or someone who has traveled the world. I treat nature like a human, with complete love, a open heart and respect. I guess I gotta face the reality, they will never speak, but still the history of trees and what they've seen is a amazingly fascinating thing in my eyes.

was standing there for like 15 seconds, but it was too cold not to even shiver! haha.. and it was like multiple shots and i had to choose.. it was fun..
Had work all with Mike and Sharon until 6 in the evening. Afterwards, Mike and me decided to stop by Trader Joes to get some flowers but by our luck everything was taken. Not only that, Ryan had stopped by so he can give me the Disney Vinylmation Lombard which was really dope. When I got home, gave my mom probably one of the biggest flowers ever. Her reaction was priceless.
I had this great idea of recreating old photographs from family albums. Considering it's mothers day, I found an photograph when I visited the Philippines for the first time and my mom is embracing me which was about 20 years ago. I tried to emulate the environment, clothes, and expression of course. Although it's not the same, a photograph last a life time. Just like Andy Warhol said "The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do."

Before you go thinking that she's a bit crazy, hold on! She asked me to listen to it too (after she bit it) and when I did, I actually DID hear something :)

This is for my 365 project, GTWL Senses (this is the sense of smell), for FGR and The Joy of Life.
One of the things that brings me joy is baking & cooking. Today I decided to make a new recipe - sun-dried tomato beer bread. My daughter thought it was hilarious because one of the main ingredients was beer, which we snagged from my husband.
It was really good! Didn't taste at all like beer either!

I'm starting to relish in this time to myself. MamaWallace has gone back home so I have the time and opportunity to just space out and relax just a bit. I played around with a few effects and came up with this.
Spotted a single yellow wildflower in the yard today, thought it was pretty & would be a great Sunday image!

Sometimes you have to make do with what you have. Today, all I had was a bowl of apples & mangos on my counter in the kitchen. Oh yeah, and a shaft of very late afternoon light streaming in. Done. Dusted.

going to the boat this weekend :] i need to relax at the lake. if i can, i'll (illegally, since i don't have a boating liscense :P) ride over to this beautiful wooded island and take pictures. <3
