Just as the beauty of the moon comes from its reflecting the light of the sun, so our beauty should be shown in our reflecting the nature of God.

14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

This is my new picture for my 365 project and for the weekly theme "Vibrant Colors".

Just an image with the colors we see all the days on our monitor.

Wish everybody a calm and sunny weekend - rock on with cool pics.

129/365 -Around the house - Day 129

------------------------------------------------------

On Mother's Day my beautiful niece surprised me with a visit. I hadn't seen her since the Covid outbreak and seeing her and her family made me very happy 😊! She also brought a bouquet of tulips. Here they are basking in sunlight from the skylight.

the pilgrims and indians really wanted to wish you a happy holiday, if you are here in the US. if you live elsewhere, we are sorry we have imported the concept of Black Friday (Rob from NZ says it's there!!)

btb, the second turkey continues to be elusive!!

As I run out of the house, I wish you all well.

I will post extras and rejects later.

I tried some shots like this a handful of months ago.

They seem to get better with practice.

Stay cool everyone!

Took a walk around Fremont today after I spotted a particularly appealing red garage door while driving through. :) Then headed downtown for a few hours and had fun taking street shots for class with dave. and trying clothes on, of course. ;)

Altogether, a good day. :)

Enjoying a orgasmic yes, I said orgasmic not organic smoothie at Green Mill. Being I only had a "half day" - school until 12:10pm me and my Mom went out for lunch with my Grandparents. I took a ton more photographs I just feel like getting this one uploaded and then I'm going back out. When it is 78°F you will rarely find me anywhere near my computers!

Yes this was edited for a somewhat vintage affect. If you have Paint Shop Pro I'll let you in on the vintage secret if your wondering. Only reason I still keep that program around.

Playing around in Photoshop again... this time with Halftone patterns.

So it was the case of Mondays again.. where nothing looked appealing when it came to taking pictures.. was driving back home when I saw this building.. I must've passed it a 100 times in the past, but never caught my attention.. Today, for some reason, it did though.. and I'm glad it did. So, I pulled over in an empty parking lot close-by and the started to get some ideas.. thought some crazy angles might create interest..

Couldn't decide if I should include some sky or not, so posting one with the sky as well..

Anyhow, thanks for your views and/or comments.. really appreciate it.

It’s a fact that we live in a fast-paced society. One of the things that slows us down is walking.

For some, a dog is one of the remaining reasons why they can be encouraged to go for a walk.

For others, to go out walking is to seek creative ideas.

For me, my thoughts come clearly when I go for a walk.

When you think about it, everywhere is walking distance if you have the time. It is also one of the best ways to keep you fit.

When I was away for a while, I had the luxury of time to walk 12 miles a day. It was one of the most fun things I’ve done.

Hello dear friends, I'm back! Hope you all had a great week, I surely did. I wish you all a fantastic weekend! :)
