We have a family room in which im always in. And for some reason my mom thought it would be a good idea to put a fridge in it LOL. so now that zoey walks (real fast) and she's always in the fridge getting stuff out. On this particular day she kept taking the grapes out and putting them on the floor. hence this picture. :)

I kind of like taking a photo of myself and compositing it into another photo for a surreal look. Here is one I decided to do today. Kinda I am Legend feel to it! That is also a good movie. I have been wanting to do a photo that has this feel to it for a while. I did one a while back and composited myself into a beautiful sunset, but still was not the feel I was looking for. So what do you think? Do you like this style of photography? Its not a specialty of mine, I know there are photographers that are very good at it, but I still like to mess around doing this.

Please note that no selective colour was used for this image. The background was dark when I took the image and there wasn't much colour in it before editing in Lightroom. I do understand that using selective colour was not allowed in the theme rules and wanted to point out that it was not used here.
shooting the rapids with a freestyle kayak on the Ottawa River at Bate Island. There is quite a fun and entertaining scene on the island. People taking photos, others encouraging the kayakers, others just hanging out. It's very alive and vibrant. I will have to go back.

Oh and, my hands aren't really that big. Infact, they're extremely small. Whenever I photograph them, though, they look huge. I don't get it.

Seventh (yes, SEVENTH) round of snow this month is paying us visit. You suck, April...and screw you, Mother Nature. Who needs you anyway when we can create our own pretty little spring inside thanks to the floral department at the local Safeway.

Saw this broken fence behind a bus stop, was really narrow space to go behind and focus from that close distance, well I just got it! Then in CS3 added spin to give motion and punch.. reality distortion field.. LOL!

Our Daily Challenge - Low Angle Shot
This is what it takes to get me through the day. My chin is on the desk as I look up at that great drink that kick starts my day. I think I'm a day behind but as you can see from the photo I'm a little busy. Be patient as I tell my clients I'm getting around to it.
One of the gorgeous little singers in my garden is giving his very best for the 366-1 group weekly competition, "A bird".
Sorry... this is just a flying visit ... I'm ab-so-lute-ly swamped with work, but now there's a light a the end of the tunnel - tomorrow (or by Friday at the latest) I'm back.
