... for your good KARMA:-)))

This is day 100 of my 365. How the heck did this happen so quickly? I shouldn't say that...some days were dragging by with blanks on what to shoot and other days were a breeze with ideas coming in left and right. While I will admit to almost quitting once (ok, maybe twice!) I am glad I didn't and will continue to keep going but most importantly, have fun doing it. I also want to wish congratulations to my fellow 365 peeps. You are all doing an amazing job. :)

As always, thanks for your visits and for your encouragement. I appreciate all of it and YOU!

I hope you all had a great day!

{100~365 ~ April 10th 09} I have finally reached 100 in the DeGlass series. I am now into triple figures and on the home stretch LMAO yeah right HA HA :)

The moral of this photo is "chickens in glass houses can't throw eggs " errrrrr I have no idea what that means :)))

I would like to take the time to wish everyone a safe and happy Easter weekend. Thank you for all your wonderful support in my DeGlass journey, I am amazed by you interest at times ;) xxx hugs and chocolate kisses ( oh la la) Car

PS... No chickens were hurt in the taking of this photo - see shot below :)

Day 100/365: 2015

The weekly theme is giving the mundane it's beautiful due

Also # 34 in my 100 x challenge - using my nifty fifty

I've done clothes peg pics in the past but thought they are pretty mundane things so would be ideal for the theme.

Think of all the ways in which you are lucky.

I am lucky that I finally made it to 100 days of snail images! I am lucky I am going on a field trip with my daughter. I am lucky that I got an image done and posted before I had to leave.

Wishing you lots of luck today!

My tulips have lasted what seems like a long time, 10 days. I think I'll be throwing them out today as they have seen better days! So, here's one last shot of them before they do.

2/7 - All things green 💚 with some green tones and leaves

One of my favorite shorebirds... a zillion miles away! Can you find the odd bird out? There is a lone Marbled Godwit amongst them.

The Avocets are in their beautiful breeding plumes.

Wow. This is a pretty boring shot for my 100th in my 365. Oh well. I wasn't thinking about it all today when I took it. I drove into the little town near our lake house and when I pulled into a parking lot to turn around, I found myself staring right at this beautiful old building. I couldn't help but take a picture. I'm actually pretty happy with how this turned out, despite its lack in celebratory subject matter for my 100th day.

For Day 100 of 365, lyrics, TRP "Too Cheap for a Studio" day, Today's Random Fact and Peeps.

Alt versions available. Let me know what you think on those too.

Actual store conversation:

Me: Hey, do you guys have any more Peeps bunnies?

Store Clerk: How many do you need?

Me: 100.

Clerk: You need 100 Peeps bunnies?

Me: Yeah. I probably wouldn't have asked otherwise.

Clerk: You must really like Peeps.

Me: Not really. Hate em actually.

Clerk: So, what do you need 100 Peeps bunnies for?

Me: A photo.

Clerk: One photo?

Me: Yep. One.

Clerk: Why do you need 100 Peeps for ONE photo?

Me: It's Day 100 of photos.

Clerk: There's been a lot more than 100 days of photos.

Me: You're right. I started last year and failed.

Clerk: Are you OK?

Me: Not if you don't have 100 Peeps bunnies.

Clerk: We don't have anything but the chicks.

Me: I need bunnies.

Clerk: Sorry. You'll have to wait til Day 120 or so.

Me: I don't like you anymore.

Today's Random Fact: It's a lot more difficult to get 100 Peeps bunnies two days before Easter than you would probably think. Everyone has chicks. Nobody has bunnies. Four stores later, still didn't get 100 of em.

Thank you all for 100 great days. I could not have done this without you. And please, all of you that have helped me along the way, put a comment on here so I can thank you personally. Please!

"Delicate" by Damian Rice

We might kiss when we are alone

When nobody's watching

We might take it home

We might make out when nobody's there

It's not that we're scared

It's just that it's delicate

So why'd you fill my sorrows

With the words you've borrowed

From the only place you've known

And why'd ya sing Hallelujah

If it means nothing to you

Why'd you sing with me at all?

We might live like never before

When there's nothing to give

Well how can we ask for more

We might make love in some sacred place

The look on your face is delicate

So why'd you fill my sorrow

With the words you've borrowed

From the only place that you've known

And why'd you sing Hallelujah

If it means nothing to you

Why'd you sing with me at all?

And why'd you fill my sorrows

With the words you've borrowed

From the only place that you've known

Why'd you sing Hallelujah

If it means nothing to you

Why'd you sing with me at all?

Poppers fit the general category of "dry flies;" floating lures delivered by means of fly rods or spinning rods and irresistible to bass and panfish. Each of these poppers is about 3 inches in length and are designed to catch bass. Smaller poppers are designed for panfish such as bluegills and other sunfish.

So it was late in the day and I realized today was day 100 for me so I came with a quick idea to get as many props from my first 100 days into this shot. Here goes:

1) The pink onesie

2) Red neck belt buckle

3) Penguins playoff rally towel

4) Coconut bra (HAT)

5) Plastic lei (HAT)

6) Half nekkid (HNT)

7) Crutches from when I hurt my ankle on my first jump shot.

8) Jake

9) Peanut butter

10) Mr. Banana from the banana stripper in my kitchen

11) Feather duster

12) Jack Daniels (I think I am drinking in about a third of my shots)

13) Fetucinni wig (aka pasta head)

14) Twinkle lights in the indoor tree

15) Bar of soap in the mouth

16) Aviator sunglasses

...and I had "100" written on my hand and totally forgot about it when I took the shot.

It has been a fun, wierd, and strange ride through the frist 100 days but I am looking forward to the next 100. Hopefully I can make you laugh along the way....or at least say, "What is wrong with that guy."

The quality of this shot sucks but there is a lot going on here and trying to keep Jake sitting still led to me using the flash.....and it went down hill from there.

I consider today a milestone for my 365. This is my third 365 photo project and I always find the first 99 days the hardest to get through and I get a little bit excited once I have reached the 100 day mark. Triple digits!! As a kid I remember being so excited to turn 10 years old. Double digits! Geez, I wish I could go back to being a single digit age. :)

When I went to the Dollarstore and bought the candles the cashier got excited and asked me if someone in my family would be celebrating their 100th birthday. I replied "No, these candles are just for a project I am working on." If she only knew lol. The candles might not be used for a birthday, but today deserved cupcakes, right?

100 down....only 265 more to go! lol

whats going on!! another shot made it to #39 Explore...thanks for the views comments & favs.

Wow, I made it to day 100 yipee! I know it's not even a third of the way, but so far, so good. I hope I can keep it up for the remaining 265 :)

I have been thinking of doing some themed weeks for a while, and what better place to start that at the day 100 milestone.

Please accept my Red picture as the start of colour week :)

In other news, I think I lost my glasses today :(

A red fact : : In China, red is associated with good luck and fortune.

~Elizabeth Gilbert, American writer/author

We need to learn how to select our thoughts just the same way we select what clothes to wear or what food to eat every day. This is a power we can cultivate. If we want to control things in our life so bad, work on the mind. That’s the only thing we should be trying to control. Drop everything else but that. Because if we can’t learn to master our thinking, we’re in deep trouble forever :)

So every time a diminishing or negative thought arises, just repeat the vow: “I will not harbor unhealthy thoughts anymore.”

Have a blessed Sunday! :)

Incredibly revolting rain all day today and I seem to have recaught my cold after getting so cold yesterday. God, give me summer please!

Nothing too exciting going on today. Just another Tuesday for the most part. I was looking through some notebooks and came across this unfinished writing..maybe I'll try to add something to it.
