I made this for the Eurobricks collaborative DaVinci Punk at Brickworld this year. It was nominated for best mechanical too, even though it sadly wasn't working very reliably on judging day :( I have fixed that now though, but it's a bit too late...

Collection of my da Vinci brushes. Two flats for big washes no. 60 & 40 - synthetic; no. 12 round ussuri sable (my best brush at all); no. 8 round harbin kolinsky and no. 14 wash with squirrel hair.
This was a picture taken while I was in Jesus Christ Superstar. I have everyone pose as if in the Da Vinci's Last Supper Painting
Walking on the false ceiling of the bingo hall to take a photo of the amazing remains of the lower circle.
The entire circle remains with the newer twin screens steel frame built around it.. In the end we didn't get a chance to look for remains of the original auditorium ceiling but i am fairly confident it will be there.. What they need is some demo guys to come in and gut the place back to original before they start thinking about total demolition.. cant see the wood for the trees!
Oh and dont jump up and down on here, shes bouncy!

My anchor in Second Life, Beta Bates--etheral, fae, titanium-souled, archetypical.
A rather ghostly image--looks better larger.
This is my take on the Mona Lisa. I know it doesn't look like her. Oil on canvas paper. 16X12

From the NC Art Museum website:
The Codex Leicester is a 500-year-old notebook from inventor, scientist, and artist Leonardo da Vinci. Named after the Earl of Leicester, who purchased the 72-page manuscript in 1717, it is composed of 18 sheets of paper, each folded in half and written in the artist’s famed “mirror writing.”
Together with the rough sketches and drawings accompanying them, the notes offer a glimpse into one of the greatest minds in history. The central theme of the work is water, but this quickly expands into astronomy, light and shade, and mechanics. The Codex is the only one of Leonardo’s manuscripts in North America.
