No datacenter should be without a Dirk. We keep Dirk upright in cabinet position until he is needed. He maintains a state of stasis until an alarm goes off, then the door opens and he springs into action.

Have you guys ever seen a cable this thick? It is almost the size of a fist!

This is the networking cabinet in BitPusher's new Seattle datacenter. Every cabinet has two HP2848 switches for redundancy that each plug into one of our Cisco 6506's via Fiber. Blue cables are for our left network, Green are for our right. Black are for management gear like Loms.

Perhaps you've seen the IBM ads in which Gil and his colleagues paint the data center green. They showed up on the IBM booth at the Gartner Data Center Conference as well.
