Abstract sci-fi scene. These tend not to pull huge numbers, but I like making them, they're fun brain teasers. Went above and beyond for the presentation on this one, lots of effects work and precision post tweaking.
Is this a series now? I don't really have time for a series. I should be working on "the big thing." Oh but a series would be fun. Anyways enjoy

A pesar de conservar vestigios de una época anterior, la actual iglesia de Rajadell data de los siglos XIV y XVII (momento en que la reconstruyeron, ya que en 1471 las tropas de Juan II la derruyeron junto con el castillo).
El exterior de la iglesia presenta una mezcla de estilos: elementos góticos (paredes frontales de la fachada, nave central y paredes laterales), un portal moderno y, sobre todo, un tÃmpano con un relieve de la crucifixión.
El interior es de una nave con bóveda apuntada y cuatro capillas laterales (del Rosario, del Santo Cristo, de San Isidro y del SantÃsimo). El altar mayor tenÃa un retablo que constaba de cinco cuerpos de madera tallada y policromada de la época barroca, obra del tallista Joan Grau. Durante la guerra civil fue quemado y actualmente sólo se conservan algunas partes, que pertenecen a colecciones privadas.
En el interior de la iglesia, en la capilla del SantÃsimo, encontramos cuatro dioramas permanentes con escenas de la Pasión de Jesús, obra del escultor manresano Ramon Oms, y también encontramos, desde comienzos del siglo XXI, dos vitrales laterales obra de Carme Manubens.
Del conjunto, destaca el campanario, hecho por Joan Arriero, maestro de casas francés, del 1678 al 1682.
En la plaza de la Iglesia encontramos la figura de "La chica de la plaza", obra del escultor manresano Ramón Oms, al que se encomendó una escultura que reflejara el carácter hospitalario del pueblo, tal como es la chica, que ofrece una silla a todo aquel que visita la plaza.
En la plaza también encontramos la fuente de los Bastoners de Rajadell, entidad con muchos años de tradición. Actualmente la plaza acoge conciertos musicales de gran calidad a lo largo del verano y como actos de la fiesta mayor.
Although traces of a previous era, the current church date Rajadell fourteenth and seventeenth centuries (when the rebuilding, since 1471 the troops were John II demolish the castle).
The exterior of the church presents a mix of styles: Gothic elements (walls of the facade, nave and side walls), a modern website, especially a tympanum with a relief of the crucifixion.
The interior is a vaulted nave and four side chapels pointed (Roser, Santo Cristo, San Isidro and the Blessed). The altar was a painting that consisted of five carved and painted wooden bodies of the Baroque, the work of carver John Grau. During the Civil War was burned and now only preserved parts, which belong to private collections.
Inside the church, the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, are permanent four dioramas depicting scenes from the Passion of Jesus, the sculptor Ramon Manresa WHO, and there are, since the beginning of the twenty-two windows Carmen Manubens lateral work.
Whole, emphasizes the bell, made by John carrier, master of French houses, from 1678 to 1682.
In front of the church lies the figure of "The Girl of the square," the sculptor Ramon Manresa elm, which was commissioned a sculpture that reflects the character of the village hospital, as is the girl who offered a chair to anyone who visits the place.
In the square are also the source of Bastoners of Rajadell, company with many years of tradition. Today the square houses of high quality concerts throughout the summer and as acts of the festival.
