26 Jan - photo a day 2016.
Having been out all day with no opportunity to take photos, whilst driving home in the rain, I was struggling to think what my photo for the day could be, then I saw it - right in front of me!!

I finally got around to editing some photographs from the Cars And Coffee show in October. This was the third time I was there and unfortunately, nothing much has changed between the shows. The cars are usually the same one's each show and there are a lot of nasty looking tuners and rice cars. At an early show, one of my friends took a photograph of the car dashboard with I thought looked very interesting. I decided that rather then focus on the exterior of the car, I would focus on the cars interiors, specifically the dashboards. After driving down to the show in a 1964 Pontiac GTO to display, I focused on the interior of classic cars. This was the best photograph from the trip. I knew it needed to be in black and white so with some Sinatra playing, I got to editing the photograph. I like how it turned out. I wanted to get the speedometer to show up clearly and the get the metal to look clear and shiny.
