Melanie Martinez, social sensation e cantautrice self made, arriva per la prima volta in concerto in Italia! Appuntamento fissato per l‘8 novembre 2016 al Fabrique di Milano per quello che si preannuncia un vero e proprio evento.
Melanie Adele Martinez è una cantautrice statunitense, originaria di Porto Rico e della Repubblica Dominicana.
È stata membro della squadra di Adam Levine nella terza stagione dell'edizione americana di The Voice.
A poco più di un anno dall'eliminazione dal programma, avvenuta nel corso della quinta settimana dei live show, piazza sul mercato, il 22 aprile 2014, il singolo Dollhouse proveniente dall'omonimo EP.
Il 14 agosto 2015 è stato pubblicato il suo album di debutto intitolato Cry Baby, un concept album che affronta tematiche molto scomode come: abusi emotivi e fisici, famiglie disfunzionale e le difficoltà che ogni teenager deve affrontare nel passaggio all’età adulta. L’album viene accompagnato da video musicali che si differenziano per la iconografia contemporaneamente infantile ed inquietante.
Il suo lavoro viene acclamato da critica e pubblico e riesce a registrare il tutto esaurito ad ogni concerto.
Finalmente arriva per una attesissima prima data italiana.
