This is what the night looks like when it wears crosses and attitude.
Deep blue bleeding into black, latex catching light like liquid sin, silver crosses dangling like promises or threats—depending on who's asking. This isn't fashion. This is a manifesto.
This is walking into the club and owning every shadow, every bass drop, every pair of eyes that can't look away.
Look at those earrings—massive cross statements hanging like gothic chandeliers .
That corset cinched with precision and decorated with more crosses because one is never enough when you're making a point. That top with its ribbed texture and dramatic sleeves. Those boots—oh, those boots—covered in starlight or shattered glass or whatever gods sprinkle on footwear meant for dancing until dawn in underground venues where the music is loud and the lights are low and everyone understands the assignment.
This is Sisters of Mercy energy. This is Joy Division meets Siouxsie Sioux meets every darkwave playlist that ever made you feel something. This is goth not as costume but as religion. As lifestyle. As the only logical response to a world that's too bright and too loud and doesn't understand why some of us prefer our music dark and our fashion darker.
She's not trying. She just is. Born for basement clubs and foggy nights and that moment when the DJ drops the perfect track and you realize you're exactly where you belong.
The crosses aren't irony. They're iconography. Sacred and profane all at once. Beauty in blasphemy. Power in the symbols others fear to wear.
This is Lucretia looking back at herself and liking what she sees. This is the reflection that stares down the world and doesn't blink first.

The piece existed originally as a failed WhiteWall HD digital print 16" x 16" then overpainted with spray paints and modified with various physical effects such as squeegee/smudging/smearing of the various paint overlays and drippings. it evolved as a careful cascade of fortunate accidents.

I’ve been tagged in this challenge, so here i am taking part! I’ve always been drawn to gothic music, dark wave, and Marilyn Manson for the haunting, immersive vibes they give me.

Playing a tribute to David Lynch’s Eraserhead in a film studies thematic dark soundtrack which includes samples!
My background includes many years in Film studies, Art History, Gender studies, English and Greek and Roman poetry, with over 35 years collecting electronic styles of music, including industrial, ebm, experimental and most styles of synth/darkwave/cold wave/goth. I am excited to examine the thematic depths of David Lynch's Eraserhead and the haunting sounds and samples that embrace it. I am making this set in a way where each section or piece is divided into a many layers' paragraph to make an intoxicating essay with samples and added commentary on the film, its fears in society, and the uncomfortable surrealist expressionist scenery this horrific cinematic masterpiece exudes. Take some time off to come listen and dress up so you sink into a metamorphically cerebral nightmare.

This is a one-day descent into sonic warfare and dark resurrection. DJ's and a live musician will conjure unholy frequencies - darkwave, industrial, ritual bass, and undead club chaos - echoing through trenches of fog and fire. Inspired by Full Metal Jacket and dragged through the crypt of gothic horror, this is a boot camp for the already buried. Gas masks hiss. Fatigues bleed. Command comes from beyond the veil.

Apparently I haven't posted in 50 days - life has been busy with private workshops, and relocating to LA with my girlfriend Brittany. This means you'll be seeing more southwest work from me now, though I'll still be back up to the northwest a few times a year for shooting and tours!
