Let's swim to the moon
Let's climb through the tide
Surrender to the waiting worlds
That lap against our side.

Some camera flinging (or maybe it was more like jiggling) at Ambleside Beach.
I used a 6 stop ND filter, for better control of the exposure.
Detail and close-up of a damaged wallpainting in Amsterdam with fungus too from an unknown artist. Putting my camera besides the wall gave a wild perspective I like very much.
In my head I got two images fighting. One: A blue cloacked ghost is flying to attack
Two: A gigantic furious looking head built of wild water streams right from a cartoon with superheroes and supervillains. :-)
Exposed by setting the darkest detailed areas on zone III, which gave an exposure of 1/60 at f/11 (iso 640), then cropped to 7x5 format in lightroom and applied one of my black and white presets.
Due to the metering, no further edits were necessary. I brought the highlights down a little bit, but the image was not blown out at all.
The backside of the Zuiderkerk (Southern Church) surrounded by scaffoldings and green nettings for reconstruction of cleaning work. This is indeed the same building as 'Fragile tower'. But now taken from the street just behind the church.
I also like the effect of the slightly visible surface of the green gauze on the right side of the building. That gave me in some way the thought it is only 2D instead of 3D like a huge background fabric for a play. But maybe that's just me... :-)
A quiet, foggy road disappearing into the mist, surrounded by dark silhouettes of trees. Captured on Minolta Dynax 700si with Agfa APX 100 film for a timeless, moody atmosphere.

I have an interest in watching storm chasers on YouTube and had to create an image to represent what I have seen. I would most certainly like to go on a storm chasing adventure but not to close.

A very dark black and white photo of some hydrangea blossoms photographed at the Botanical Garden in Des Moines, Iowa. Although this photo is beautiful in color, this flower has very rich textures and contrast that seems perfect for B&W. I think the dark tones give it a nice mysterious look while it remains visually pleasing.

He sat quietly in the shadows, as if the forest itself was holding its breath. A single beam of light brushed his face, revealing those deep, knowing eyes. For a moment, it felt like he was studying me as much as I was studying him—two beings sharing the same silence, each trying to understand the other.
