Voila a series of images reworked. Some of these images are years old. I "saw" something in the mind's eye and felt I needed to make yet another pass at this material.

Well... it was the dead of winter afterall... when things are dark... and wet... and cold... so it is any wonder I found dark black and white work appealing?
Working with older images I've found an image processing vein that needs exploration.

Four turkey vultures, a contended band of scavengers, perch on an old wooden fence in a wheat field. The sun is setting on a cloudy evening and these birds are just lazily hanging out. Perhaps somewhere nearby there is a clean carcass of some roadkill and the buzzards are taking a break after their meal.
Apparently, the term for a group of vultures, that is, the collective noun, is a venue of vultures. That works for this scenario where these grim buzzards are not flying. A venue of vultures is not to be confused with a kettle of vultures, which only applies if they are circling in the air.

I was inspired by some rather dark monochrome images and wondered how some of my own work might look.

As I said, I entered a Dark Period after seeing some else's dark monochrome images. Certainly, it doesn't work for everything, but...
