I love my old Halloween costume collection.
Saturday is my friend from work's Halloween party. I don't know what I'm going to wear/go as, but I'll figure something out.
I was going for a sort of I'm-dead/come-hither look.
The sun went down too fast & my camera died, so I lost the natural light. As much as I love fall, I will never love it being dead-of-night-dark at 7:30pm.
Tomorrow I have to give my place speech. Ugh, not looking forward to that. I spent two hours at the library this afternoon doing research for it. She wants "little known facts," so it's kind of hard to dig for them when you've only got so much to work with. I've decided to do mine on Saugatuck Dunes State Park ish. It's encompassing the lost city of Singapore, which I don't think is in the boundaries of the park. Oh well.
Am I halfway yet? Sheesh.
Havn't participated in my face in a canvas in a while and when I saw the cat theme I knew I had to give it a try.
This one was really fun and I actually did Troy's make-up too and we both pretended we were in the wild and I kept running from him cause of his super scary ROAR! haha.

The bus hissed softly as the doors opened, and the cold breath of an unfamiliar city brushed against my face for the first time. I stepped down slowly, feeling the rhythm of my heartbeat echo against the blood-red pendant resting on my chest — a silent reminder that no matter how far from home I am, I’m still me. Woodcrest watched me in silence, like a sleeping beast waiting for me to make the first move.

First of all! Let me say I had to move quickly because the sun was going down & by time I get home from class, I've only got a limited time of natural light. Especially on the deck. I don't like that I'm wearing a hoodie, but it'll have to do since I had to do this today.
My speech class was literally 20 minutes long today. Such a waste of my time. But! We got our speech grades, and I got an 8.5/10 on my speech! To say that I'm pleased is an understatement.

**Explored**
I spent the first half of today procrastinating because I so did not want to do anything but lie on the couch and relax. The second half of the day was spent cleaning madly at the lake house in preparation for some very cool people who are coming to visit next weekend. I don't think we cleaned the cottage this well even earlier this summer when the whole family came out for the 4th of July. I wish I didn't have to wait until Friday for the fun to start. I'm ready now!
This was a pretty quick shoot tonight, but I was really happy with the way it turned out. I had a hard time deciding which of these I liked the best, so I'll put the other contenders in the comments as usual to drive Tara crazy so that you guys can tell me which is your favorite.
