No hay frivolidad ni maldad, solo honestidad, piel, huesos, lágrimas... e inevitablemente, un corazón de un tamaño anormal.

Sometimes our lives are blessed with sudden happiness, and I experienced this first hand, when I held my baby girl the very first time, on May 4th. I can't delineate my feelings. All I could say was, "Oh God she's so precious." A pure bundle of joy. Today is her one month birthday :)

Someone very close to my heart wrote these lines for my little Raha.

"The echoing rhythm is a jewel within you;

And my love now, beats among two."

spent the day alternating between crying and writhing with some unexplained (probably belly) pain on our bed and moments of the old gemma we know and love like this one here. the doctor did not think we needed to go to the er (and i would rather not if we can avoid it) so i will be taking her in tomorrow. unfortunately, she probably got my belly problems (which we will not be going into in detail here).

i was hoping that she would get my legs and her daddy's steel stomach.

monday. last night, i was on the phone with jared until 4:30 am, which resulted in me getting 1 hour of sleep. can you tell by the bags underneath my eyes? my coffee maker decided to die this morning, so i lived off of apple caffeine (an apple has the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee!) until i got some cola in me after school. i fell asleep in fourth block. noelle came over after school; we were supposed to learn the parent trap handshake, but we just talked. i had show choir... i swear to god, it would nice if for once we had just a little organization so i'm not running around trying to save everyone's ass. and i'm a little worried about my health, seeing as i've gotten my monthly friend every other week since i got my wisdom teeth out.

i don't care about anything anymore, except maybe just trying to get out of the rest of senior year unscathed.
