Love in a Mist.
These annual plants (Nigella damascena ) self-sow all over my garden. They always strike me as... odd (and not just because they choose my garden in which to grow, which is odd enough :) ).
This is a top-down view of a flower bud before it opens. I rather like this point of view with flowers and buds, as you may perhaps have noticed. With a blurred background you can imagine a strange spaceship approaching out of the frigid dark infinity of the universe... well I can anyway (too many science fiction novels I guess).
An abstraction of delight, or perhaps an echo of a bad dream...

I really need to get an Olloclip or telescopic lens for my iphone. I long to photograph the moon and actually have it look like a moon, rather than a dot of light in the sky.
