Our good friend, Bob risking life and limb for an "action shot" ... I told Bob the gator looked well fed - what are friends for?
A "Daring Jumping Spider" awaits on a peony bud. Only a half inch long, they use highly specialized eyesight to actively hunt and stalk prey.
Best when viewed large.
They had great fun. We kept a very close eye on them - the power of the surf can be ferocious, even when the waves are not enormous.

they were picking something tasty off the seaweed underwater, but rough surf sometimes bashed them on the rock.
they just rolled off and went back for more, as if it was a joyride.
Daring Dahlias: A variety of flowers were growing in abundance around the front and back of my home in Dubuque, Iowa until we had an early frost, early snowfall, and very cold temperatures. Or is it Crocodile Dundee?
I'm drawing a blank for any other like-character minted in the past 10-20 years, which is sad. Both those series - one infinitely better than the other - were from the 80's.
Perhaps I just need to go to the movies more often.
Either that, or the boys are going to have to switch to tights and a cape.

Very interested in the paparazzi, but not daring enough to leave the warmth and safety of a mother's dense fur coat, these two young cubs watch us with intense interest. Their preoccupation with the two-legged mammals is also fleeting as they quickly settle back into finding a comfortable place to nap. Mom naps through most of their antics. After all, what's a mother to do? She needs her rest and ultimately, she knows they won't go far. #PolarBearCubs
I was impressed by this little daring goat found hiding somewhere on a hiking trail around Saint Catherine nature reserve. Shot with a Canon EOS 700D
growing in very little soil, totally exposed to coastal winds and washed by storm waves. Life survives so much.

Part 1 of 4 of my collaboration with Inthert for the Space Rally Racers category of the Space Jam 2020 contest.
In this great solar-system spanning race, the pilots taking part must be both an ace pilot and engineer. A dash through an asteroid field and a race across the planet’s hostile surface to the finish - by any means necessary.
“And they’re off! The Super Six, piloted by the daring Steve Sprocket, leads the pack in what seems like beautiful conditions for today’s race. But I’m sure it won’t last long as our intrepid group of racers approach their first challenge: the perilous asteroid field!”
The other builds in the series:
1. The Super Six
2. The Not So super Six
3. The Less Than Super Six
4. The Seriously Less Than Super Sub-par Six
