Found close to the RC Cathedral. At the back of the cathedral is a big office block named after the founder of the 'Sally Army' - William Booth.

i love you. every single one of you. thank you all so much for the sweetest, most exciting, funny, and supportive comments on my last photo. jared and i are obviously excited and the fact that everyone else--even people we don't even "know"--is too, well, that just makes this whole darn thing so much more fun for everyone.

While not a full eclipse in this area (northern NSW), the dappled light under the trees is interesting - every spot turns into a crescent sun.

The Padley woodland floor is strewn with telltales of its rural industrial past, of stone masons and millstone cutters.

Summer reading and drinking.

This was quiet difficult to shoot without getting blown highlights.

This Burrowing Owl chick, one of three in a nest in Arizona, is maturing quickly. It is now able to fly for short distances. In this photograph, in dappled light, it reminded me of a portrait that one might pose for, yet it was simply startled by a bird flying overhead.
