I took these photos on 5 February 2013 - there were no planned events for this day; the photos were mainly costumed characters hanging out near the Doges Palace, the Piazza di San Marco, and the Gondola Landing - great places to people watch!
I was so happy when this couple posed for me. The ice cream cart was the perfect background for their cool Dapper outfits.
My Dad (the one not dressed up in a colorful vest) has been singing Barbershop music for about 25 years. So whenever he goes to a Disney resort, he HAS to meet up with the Dapper Dans and sing with them. My Dad sings with the Ambassador's of Harmony, which has one the international Barbershop competion gold medal twice (the last time in California in 2009).
Here my Dad is with "The Dans" (as he likes to call them) at Disney World in 2006.
