One of my extraordinary nieces demonstrating some dance moves; partly to give me some much-needed practice photographing movement, and partly to give her a warm-up before an important audition.

A few of us from the Surrey Photography Club did a photo shoot with dancer Pia Lo. She was excellent, and very patient with our amateurish directions. A couple of the photographers had professional lighting and were kind enough to let the rest of us take advantage of it. I'm not a portrait photographer by any stretch of the imagination, but this shoot was quite a bit of fun and I learned a lot.
