Cadence started taking Creative Movement classes at Joel Hall Dance Studio on Saturday. It's like a more lax version of ballet. She's never been exposed to ballet before, but she does a mean Peanut Butter stomp.

Tuesday was observation night and they got their costumes for the recital in May. This is her costume for jazz. They will be wearing tan tights and tan jazz shoes with this costume.

We cycled through the combination in groups of two, and these two in particular made an attractive pairing. From top to bottom: toe tapping; slide the left arm under the pelvis; capoeira move. Set to Blonde Redhead.

I was going through some older pics today and came across this one. This was Mallory's first year of dance(2005). This was her ballet costume and the danced to "Dolly You're A Naughty Girl". I don't remember what was going on here but she doesn't look too happy.

Mallory's dance team is doing their ballet to the Beatle's "All We Need Is Love".
