A "daddy's little girl" is the one who would rather get her hands covered in engine oil with dad, than stay in the house and bake buns with her mother! Series Below
First remastering of a piece from an old collection of my own, the Daddy-series. No personal experiences whatsoever, just picturing general situations and scaling into urban legend-type stories.
The old one was a 15-mins no-brainer, this is a bit more mature, SNOT-like version.
Rest from the series may come later.
Ray with our daughter lorelei -- she lives a few hours away and we don't see her as much as we would like -- always nice to catch up again
I found it a bit ironic over Mother's Day weekend that my favorite flower to shoot would carry the nickname of "Daddy Blue". Meet the "Daddy Blue" petunia.
Taken 7 May 2011 in Askov, MN. Recommended in LIghtbox.
I was upstairs when I heard a very odd noise, the sound of my father running (well, gallumping like an elephant), and a loud "wow!"....all because on Radio 2 Johnny Wlaker was playing "Say Goodbye to Hollywood" by Ronnie Spector.
A WWII picture - Daddy certainly brightens up this scene with that handsome Coast Guard uniform. I have it hanging in a guest bedroom upstairs. Had it dry cleaned. They took such care preserving it!
This is a new picture of daddy, I'm looking kind of good if I say so myself, but the beard has to go...
Daddy Long Legs crawling up the water tower. The pic is cropped as it is because of a big silver bolt to the right. I like the shadow under his body.
Typical of the photos taken at the daddy daughter banquet. I haven't touched any of them up yet, so this is straight out of the camera.
Strobist Info: 1/4 power flash through umbrella camera left, flash bouncing off gold reflector camera right.

I have recently given up my photography business to help take care of this precious man. My blog has taken a huge turn as I plan to document this journey with my dad. He has just entered into hospice care. The story starts with this post if any of you care to follow from time to time.
