I think this is a sanderling but if any of you twitchers out there know better, please feel free to correct me! There was a group of 6 or 7 birds flitting around the water's edge.

Corfe Castle was built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century and improved in the 12th and 13th centuries. It was a Royalist stronghold during the English Civil War eventually falling to a Parliamentarian siege in 1645.

Containing a village of relocated authentic structures recreating indigenous architecture, customs, and folk culture from the region.

The other locos are S160 No. 6046 and 7820 Dinmore Manor.

Taken on a 30742 Charters event at the Churnet Valley Railway.

This little guy kept changing directions on me.

The Black Beacon was built in 1929 to house radio apparatus in connection with a top secret homing device for military aircraft.

It was built in 1902 to replace Belle Tout Lighthouse.
