Something a little different from my standard fare. This Cat D7 Dozer is a MOC built on commission for a family member, and has been developed from the 60074 set.
Built at Derby, 'Peak', Sulzer type 4 no. (D) 7 'Ingleborough' entered traffic on 28th November 1959 at Camden. Later renumbered as 44007, it remained in operation until 30th November 1980 and rather ironically, it was scrapped at Derby Works. Pictured here at Derby in April 1973 working a ballast train.

No date or location (Clay Cross heading north - thanks to Cameron) for this shot of Peak Class 44 44007 on a mixed freight train. Large smoking chimney in the background, and taken in the late 70's probably.
The pilot scheme loco was new from Derby Works in November 1959 numbered D7 and named Ingleborough. Withdrawl was in November 1980 and scrapping back at Derby Works one year later.
Image from a negative in my collection taken by an unknown photographer.
A nice old Caterpillar D7 out on a weekend of randomly going up and down a field - well it was a Caterpillar Working Weekend, or just a weekend where the tractors are showcased to those interested plus a few avid photographers like myself.
Toton: stabled outside the maintenance shed 14/12/1968.
D7 was renumbered 44007 under TOPS. It was withdrawn 11/80 and cut up at Derby Works 10/81.
Not a very good photo as the negative is quite damaged but I have tidied it up a bit.
