My first "long" bike ride, from South Sacramento to Mather Lake in Rancho Cordova. One way was about 15 miles. I estimated it'd take me about 3 hours one way, but it took me 1.5 hours only. My next trip will be from South Sacramento to Davis via the Yolo Causeway between West Sacramento and Davis (~27 miles). This is in preparation for a cross country tour.
