Getting that first slice from a freshly baked loaf of bread is just wonderful! Eating it slathered with butter is, of course, even better! 😊

It seems to be the big trend now to use salt and caramel together but now it's adding different types of salt into the mix. These caramels are made with these salts:
Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
Black Pacific Sea Salt
Red Hawaiian Sea Salt

The Basement was probably the creepiest spot here. Not sure why I went down there. All I found was some sleeping bags, can food and trash. Glad I didn't see a died body.
For 121 Pictures in 2021 #24 "Cutting edge" this is the working end of a mandolin, a kitchen tool designed to slice cucumbers and onions as easily as the tip of a finger. I'm using it here to slice small cucumbers for making sliced dill pickles, which we will mainly use for frying (fried pickles are a favorite side or appetizer in many parts of the south, particularly in cajun restaurants. This tool is also useful for slicing potatoes (for au gratin, etc) and anything else relatively small needing thin, flat slices. But they are also quite dangerous, and must be used with great care (no drinking wine while using this!).

My entry for this week's Macro Mondays challenge - Triangle(s)
This is a set of saw teeth on a Japanese Style Pull Saw (or flush cut saw) used in woodworking for a thin line cut.
It was shot using a 105mm Macro lens and a full set of extension tubes and two speedlights - one illuminating the background partially and the other the bevel on the cutting edge.
It does feel rather different returning to do this challenge after a few months, but I am glad.
Thank you for stopping by :)
