This is Archie, our neighbours' diminutive Teacup Yorkie. He is a recent adoption. Archie is 10 years old, has very few teeth but has already declared his garden a bird-free zone!
Ginnie in Wareham Forest
This is my lovely old girl Ginnie on her morning walk. She's well over 16 years old now and understandably not as spritely as she was. She still wants her two walks a day however, and is not shy about letting you know!

Its soft, pale grey feathers contrast beautifully with the brilliant yellow crest that fans upward from its head, giving it an expressive and regal appearance. Bright orange cheek patches add a splash of warmth to its face, highlighting its alert, curious eyes.

His bark is fierce, but his heart is as soft as a pillow. He fears thunder, cats, and stern looks, yet never misses a chance to snuggle. Over ten years old and still playfully goofy, a friend whose gaze says it all – and who knows how to keep secrets. ❤️

Thanks to the perspective of a fish-eye lens we can get very close but still see all of Jane. In fact, her paw is nearly touching the glass as I took the photo.
