I forgot I had this shot of these two lovely young girls! Lan and I were at the park taking a walk along the river and these two cuties saw us with a camera and wanted their picture taken. How could I resist?!

Evan gives the Sony R1 a spin. She's getting the hang of it! Her parents got her a little point&shoot this past year and she's become quite the shutterbug.
I just love seeing children's expression.. It is priceless. Even in simple ways they find happiness in little things that we adults ignore.. I miss those times when we don't think of anything or what people would say. I miss the feeling of running around and enjoying every second of the day with no worries at all...
This is why I miss being a kid again..
The duties of a mom multiply when in such cold and treacherous weather. But she would help her little one with lots of love and care, forgetting about her own feel of cold...
Because that's what the love of a mother is... And why we love them all!

This little girl was dressed in a cute costumes with wings and was playing hide and go seek with her mom at a local Market Place.
I am learning portrait photography the hard way--trial and error. I don't have any lights as you can tell. I need a visit with Santa and put in my request. I credit tikf411 for the baby setup--A fabulous idea.

I met this little kid outside a resort and he was entertaining the guests along with his family!!! It was nearly impossible to get a decent picture of him because he was constantly showing off his moves, which largely involved winking and moving his head and hands rapidly :D anyway I got this half decent shot of this cute little dance master!!! The pink background is his elder brother dancing :D

I was out today shooting produce and people for my Food Desert project [thepeopleofdetroit.com]. This is the son of the woman I interviewed. He insisted I take his picture. I'm glad he did.
