Tired of waiting for spring, I paid a visit to the Powell Garden Conservatory In Missouri. It was filled with treasures for my winter-weary eyes. This tiny viola face was peeking out - barely visible among the wonderful foliage he had been paired with.

Meet Cookie... This is my sister's little Pugalier... she's a cross between a Pug and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Cookie is bonkers! She's the most hyper pup I've ever met, but sometimes she takes care when walking over the grass LOL

I managed to get the camera out a couple of times over the weekend and we had some amazing sunshine yesterday :)
I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for a good start to the week ahead... I have nothing but work, work, work in front of me this week, so I'm not sure how much Flickr time I'll have, but I'll do my best to catch up with you soon :)

Jessie the Barn Owl was so photogenic and most of the photos of her actually came out really really well :)
So, my car is finally road worthy again and I have the certificate to prove it LOL got the all clear yesterday evening :)

There will be a few times in your life when all your instincts will tell you to do something, something that defies logic, upsets your plans, and may seem crazy to others. When that happens, you do it. Listen to your instincts and ignore everything else. Ignore logic, ignore the odds, ignore the complications, and just go for it.
This life is what you make it. No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. But the best part is you get to decide how you're going to mess it up. Boys/Girls will be your friends - they'll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything - they're your true best friends. Don't let go of them. Also remember, brothers/sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they'll come and go too. And baby, I hate to say it, most of them - actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can't give up because if you give up, you'll never find your soul mate. You'll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about.
