When I took this photo and looked at it in my display on the back of my camera I zoomed it up to her mouth and eyes and then collapsed on the ground laughing until I cried. I knew I'd taken the best photo of my life. Unfortunately it wasn't as in focus as I had hoped, but still it captures the inate animal instinct inside such a sweet dog - she looks like a crocodile or shark going after raw meat. eyes glazed over, mouth wide, it's all there.

I wanted to produce a 'simplified' portrait of Amber to highlight her features. So I pushed up the intensity and the contrast and removed the background. I think she looks quite che guevara like.
