Twilight Walk Dundee Saturday 27th April 2013 - fantastic weather for the second Twilight Walk - over 250 people took part - well done everyone ...
I had to put socks on Lola to get her to stop ripping out her hair and doing damage to her eyes and ears. She has very bad allergies and until I got her on a good dose of allergy medication I had to put some cute socks on her back feet. She's was so funny... she didn't care at all.
Just me and my new booties. I made a few laps around the house in them and then decided to take a rest. I just love when I get new booties. My mom didn't want to get me blue ones but my dad said yes!! Woo hoo, go daddy!!

Well, I got him to eat some tuna this morning. He will only eat boiled chicken, a grilled hamburger, or tuna. Even then, only when HE wants it. Very picky. Other than that, if he doesn't come over to eat or drink, he just lays there. Day 9 = another step backward. :(

Sampson has been our buddy since 2004. In the winter of 2008, he suffered a severe perineal hernia that required a $2000 surgery to repair it. At the time of the surgery, we were told that due to the severity of the hernia that it was likely to reoccur. As predicted, it has reoccurred and he desperately needs more surgery before 2012. Other than the hernia, he is a happy, healthy and active dog who should live to his mid to late teens. Therefore, I cannot in good conscience end his life prematurely. I have also contacted a Corgi rescue in hopes that he could be adopted to a family that is more financially able to care for him. However, since my husband and I can't have children, giving him up for adoption because of health issues seems as ridiculous to us as giving up our 9 year old child for adoption because we can't keep up with the medical expenses. We work in the service industry, living paycheck to paycheck and our credit is not good enough to get a care credit card that would allow us to make payments. To help us pay for Sampson's surgery, we have set up a ChipIn donation site to raise funds for Sampson's surgery. So please consider donating whatever small amount you can to help keep Sampson with the family that loves him. It's TJ's turn to wear the birthday bandana. The cutest dog in the world turns 15 years old today. Where has the time gone?! If you look through the "Boys Through the Years" set, you'll see he's one of the few dogs that has gotten better looking as he has aged. We should all be that lucky. Cute crime committer. I was watching a moive and had me earbuds in and he got up and fliped the ipod right off the bed. He did time in jail(the cage but we call it jail lol)

TJ's not so good in the heat. He has had breathing problems virtually his whole life. Years ago I took him to an Equestrian place and let them run a scope down his throat (youch! $1000+!) and found out that when he's gasping he's down to about 10% of needed air. Since then I've tried to keep him out of the heat. So when I heard "76 degrees in Dallas" on the radio this morning, I got up and we were off!!! He loved it!

Brody has been a spoiled deva. Instead of playing with all the chew toys he has been given, he decided to go for my defender case. Caught in the act, he was convicted and sentenced to hard time. As you can tell, he disagrees to the courts ruling.
