Won't you have a SEAT?

Of course, SEAT is pronounced "SAY-ott." It's an acronym for Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo (Spanish for "Society of Spanish Touring Cars"). This is the SEAT 600, made from 1957 to 1973, with a very small engine in the back.

Though Spanish, it was based on the Italian Fiat 600, so it makes sense that a pizzeria in Bloomfield, New Jersey would use it to promote itself.

This is the first (and so far only) SEAT I've seen in person, and that too makes sense, since SEATs aren't sold in the United States.

I just can't stop looking at her!

Love, love, love the way this girl came out. The Dragon girl will always be a badass to me.

A linda Brie me marcou nessa tag e estou muito feliz em fazê-la, depois de tanto tempo longe das minhas bonecas!

Regras:

- Revele um segredo profundo da sua doll, algo que ninguém ou quase ninguém saiba;

- Poste uma foto relacionada a esse segredo;

This girl right here is very special, she is the result of your guys' support towards me during this fun customizing journey. Last June I ran a custom-service giveaway where close to 500 people entered, (thank you all who did!) it was very exciting but for now there could only be one winner, well this girl's mom was the lucky one! She was prompt to ship her Playful Raindrops to me and I was finally able to get my hands on her, so she is awake and ready to travel back to Finland! I hope you love her as much as I do and stay tuned for more giveaways in the future!

Thank you all again for your continued support, you guys are the best!

Back wall of the shop. Skate decks are mounted to the wall and their wheels/trucks are found in the crate in the corner. Opposite corner has a barrel full of paddles and a hook to display life jackets. There's a display for the surf boards, flippers, water skis and tow ropes/handles. Custom lighting and speakers finish off the wall. I had that 2x4 printed tile from a CHIMA set and figured I'd fill that empty wall space with it. It's all about the details and filling up as much space with merch. as possible!

Present to Shinobu

This is my newest custom, she took me a while to finish but I'm very happy with the result.

She's sold, thanks for all the interest everyone!

Made a fender stay to mount a Supernova taillight off of. Little bit of machining, little bit of welding, little bit of finish work. Made out of stainless steel so it won't rust too much. Kinda love how low profile these taillights are. Just wish it came with some kind of decent fender mount, so I wouldn't feel so compelled to make one every time I put one on a bike. www.bantambicycles.com

Yay! I finally finished my Aquel custom, Selene the goddess of the Moon. I have fallen in love. She is so soft and bright, just like the moon.

This is Jo, my custom Beach Rodeo Momoko, one of the latest girls in my Momoko gang!

She's wearing her default outfit except for the lovely winter scarf (I didn't want her to get cold in the chilly air, though I wish the snow hadn't melted). I think it suits the outfit and her new hair well! Once the original hair was removed I picked a cute and fluffy fur wig for her in a beige/camel color. Love the ponytails!

It's such a sweet look for her that I'm hoping to customize another Momoko one day and put her in a furry wig, too. I'm also thinking of mohair because I like the soft texture and fluffiness. :) It works great on some dolls and not so much on others. I think fur at least looks wonderful on Momoko, especially if she's tan-skinned. Light hair against dark skin = ♥ It reminds me of kogals with their tanned skin and bleached hair.

Beach Rodeo is one of those Momokos whose outfit I like very much. The short top, tight vest, super long skirt with cowboy belt, golden loop bracelets and brown cowboy boots all look great! The "downside" in my eyes is the default hair; the big brown bun on top of her head isn't as interesting a hairdo as it could be and the hair can't be worn loose. You're stuck with the burn forever. *laugh* Hence why I got rid of it as soon as I received the doll. :) She was always meant to be customized and I'm very happy with her new look!

This in my take on a character, trying to keep it close to the original, but adding things to make it more personal and unique.

Thank you for watching and stay tuned, more will come :)

I have many more photos there.

I remember reading in the old Proteus frame building manual that they said the seat lug was the least attractive one on a bike frame. I tend to disagree. I feel like it's where framebuilders can really show off their craft. Where we can display some of our skill and create an individual style in our bikes.

I'm super happy with how this one turned out. The transition from knife edge at the front of the lug to a distinct edge at the back and how that works with the half-mitered stays. Looks so nice.
