Customised by me.

I needed a fresh start in Second Life after an unrelentlessly disasterous 2020 so far - yes like the rest of the world, I know I know. This was only the second landmark I took to casually consider new options after staying in the one spot for a year but the moment I landed here my undead heart skipped several beats and I knew I was home.

It's a very core need of mine in SL that I have a place that's entirely mine and to my tastes (i.e I detest shabby chic with a passion, ughhhhhh) so I've focused on nothing but decoration and customising for the past week. Yes Grazia, Tuscan/Japanese fusion is totally a thing! 😛

The landscaping was already in place and I didn't touch it as it's far better than my efforts ever could be. I grew up with strelitzia outside our kitchen window, so to have them here makes me happy. Gotta say though, having my own beach and waterfalls makes me even happier!

Raw snapshot from the viewer.

From the 70s. I've just finished customising it.

Customised Backwards Clock ...

... for situations or events where one does not want the time to go by. Instead, one would prefer the time to stand still or even go backwards.

For me, this is definitely true when it comes to polar bears and polar bear cubs in particular, as well as other animals. That’s why I enjoy these times with the help of a Backwards Polar Bear Clock

The mechanism of this Clock (anti-clockwise) runs backwards, however, it always tells the exact time

Can you tell me the time this clock shows ????

A customised Modenas Jaguh with it's rider, owner, designer and mechanic. One of a few thousands of bike that participated in the week long biker's jamboree in Kuala Lumpur.

This rider is an custom expert choose to work on the Malaysian bike - the Modenas Jaguh and spent their time and expertise in lengthening and shaping up their bike frames and parts. He claimed to only spent RM500 or about USD200 for parts. The rest is time and workmanship for the love of it.

I am just amazed at the results, a beautiful bike....I only wish their engine is much better. It only runs on a 175cc engine. I love it's tubular fuel tank - constructed out of a fire fighting appliances.

I'm not really sure what make it is but this one works.

This hot rod appears now and again at UK custom car shows. I think it's based on a 1938 Ford Coupe but it's so extensively modified it's hard to tell.

A 2nd hand jacket that I have customised with bits of fabric and yarn, and finished off with my own handmade buttons.

I've always been a little indifferent to camper vans but this one, spotted at Robin Hill during an Isle Of Wight holiday, made me wish I could own it. It's very 'Barbie'.

Customised all my old Sandtroopers using the helmets from the 5POA "Rogue One" Stormtrooper. Also removed the hanging white boxes from the front of their belts and replaced them with more accurate magazine pouches.

Head re-rooted in Pillarbox Red Saran, lips & Eyebrows repainted. I finished this little girl a month or two ago (finally!) but have only just got around to photographing her and showing her off! I've just realised she still needs a bit of work as she has a faint "face line" which I'll have to either remove or bring the hair line down a little...hmmm, anyhoo, in case you're wondering Kyle...this is an idea of what you'r two beauties will look like once finished in the hair you sent!!

Customised and chromed.

As far as customised motorcycles go this one was not overdone but it was this customised and chromed wheel that caught my attention.

I don't really like customising shoes. But I have to share these Vans with you guys. I did these in the train on my way to the City of Dreams exhibition in Deventer last weekend. When you walk with this shoes you'll get a chase between the villain and the police
