This picture is for the group Macro Mondays and this week the theme is "Eye(s)".
This is part of the Carroll County (Tennessee) Drug Task Force patch.
My husband is the artist/digitizer at Custom Embroidery in Nashville, Tn. I asked him to sew out a few patches so that I could attempt to photograph them. Since this one had eyes I chose to use it for this weeks theme.
I wasn't sure that I would be able to get a clear picture of the embroidery needle since it's so small.
This is another patch that my husband embroidered. He is the artist and digitizer at Custom Embroidery in Nashville.
This patch goes on the back of a jacket and is about 15 x 12 inches. It has about 110,000 stitches.
This patch is not sewn down...my husband brought it home for me to take a photo of it. I have it laying on the back of a black jacket.
This is a true view of embroidery that my husband created for someones Harley-Davidson seat. This design is going on the main seat. The previous photo, the one with the black widow pulling the heart off of the Ace card, is going on the back seat. My husband was asked to come up with a design for both seats that went along with the airbrushed picture that is already on the motorcycle. (This is the second of two designs.)

This is a patch that my husband recently made. He brought it home so that I could take a picture of it. I just have it laying on the back of his leather coat (It is not sewn down). He is the artist and digitizer at Custom Embroidery in Nashville, Tn.
The size of the patch is 12 1/2 x 11 inches. It has 195,000 stitches. I think he said it took about 7 hours to sew out.
My photo certainly does not do it justice!! It has a lot of shading in it which I don't think you can see very well in this photo.
This logo was created (not by my husband) for the American Prisoner(s) Of War (POW) and Missing In Action (MIA) of the Vietnam War. The Vietnam War was from November 1, 1955 - April 30, 1975.
He is supposed to sew this logo on several jackets and on material that will make a Harley Davidson Motorcycle seat.
This is the hat that my husband digitized and made for my doctors assistant who is a big Ohio State fan.

A few months ago after having several trigger point injections (with good results) I asked my doctor "how do you know exactly where to inject for the best results?" He answered "Even a blind squirrel finds the nut every once in a while."
When me and my husband were on our way home we started talking, and laughing, about what the doctor said. Since my husband does digitizing/embroidery I told him that he needs to make a hat with a goofy squirrel on it along with the doctors saying. My husband decided to do a punch of the Ice Age squirrel and sew it on a hat. We came up with "Found The Nut" which he sewed on the back.
We gave him the hat at my next appointment and told him it was just so he would remember that he "found the nut" with the trigger points he did.
My husband also made him an Alabama hat and his assistant an Ohio State hat.... since we knew that those are their favorite college football teams. (I did take photos of those hats which are the next two pictures.)
My photos of the embroidery does not do them justice. I took the photos inside and am not very good with indoor pictures. The embroidery turned out awesome!

This is another patch that my husband did. It is for the Carroll County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force Unit. Carroll County is in Tennessee.
The mouth of the skull has various drugs and a syringe between it's teeth.
This is a sample patch that was sewn onto a black piece of material. The logo is normally sewn directly onto the Officers uniforms.
I used this patch in the background of my photo's "Don't even think about it!!", ".38 Special" and "Embroidered Skull Eye(s)".
