The Aristocrat and Aristocrat Custom Built horns of the 1930s were configured in a long, compact wrap. It was a popular style of the day; in its sales literature Buescher bragged about the models' streamlined modern appearance.

Note that the main slide is configured to cant downward to the left and enter the third valve case to the right of the third valve slide.

Because of the relatively long and narrow wrap, some mistake these horns for "peashooter" trumpets. They aren't. A peashooter is generally wrapped even tighter and longer than this horn; the term is also usually associated with small bore sizes.

The bore on this horn might be considered small by today's standards, but it was a medium bore horn in its day.

Heather's bar/stem was custom made using a combination of fillets and TIG welds to get a really specific look. A 38CM 25.4 Nitto B-123 handlebar completes the tight and right track look on Heather's Rockcity and we added a hand-cut 'H' to the back of the stem as a cherry on top for our favorite gal.

This is a custom built chair created to look like a chair by Mitchell Gold. The client wanted deeper seating area for a cozier chair.

Although 1752 & 1754 arrived at Semper Shops at seperate times they will be ready to depart at the same time. The boys in the shop decided to work through lunch to get 1754 ready for departure. The horn, bell and antennae are the same as on 1752 however with the horn and antennae reversed running long hood forward.

1962 MG MGA 2000 MkIII Blue Magic Special Atlantic Coupé

This car is quite famous in MG-circles and is the result of a painstaking restoration/custom rebuild undertaken by owner Tom Gustavsson. Originally an MKII MGA, it was bought as a rusty wreck in 1989.

The body was almost beyond repair... almost, as Gustavsson decided it HAD to be saved, no matter what. Inspired by the famous Bugatti Atlantic from the late 30s, Gustavsson modified the car. The 18 valve engine had its size increased to 2 litre, delivering 128 hp and a top speed of roughly 200 km/h. The gearbox is a full synchro 1972 MGB.

Several parts (mostly engine) have been gold plated and the car has countless unique features implemented.

When the project was finally completed in 1995, Gustavsson named it "Blue Magic Special and the first long trip went to - of course - the international MG Meeting at Silverstone!

The annual CRAA (Classic Race Aarhus) vintage motoring event attracts an ever increasing participation from both drivers and spectators.

The classic car parks of the event (there are 2, one outside by the main entrance and one in "Mindeparken") are always a good place to spot interesting vintage vehicles from practically any era of motoring. Many visitors spend a lot of time here, enjoying the sights.
