Custom printed gray sports almanac and newspaper by custombrick.net . The robin head was first done by LegoBatBrick.
This picture might seem odd coming from a castle builder, but I actually love sci-fi and Star Trek in particular.
So I recently got a couple Star Trek torsos from custombricks.net/spexto.html and some Crazy Arms from crazybricks.com.
(I'll post more on the crazy arms later!)
I'm really impressed with the quality of both products, I hope I can put them to good use in a nice moc soon! ;)
It's a misfortune to wear a red-shirt when beaming down to an unknown planet.
(Spock, Kirk and custom printed shirts from www.customBricks.net) Thanks [https://www.flickr.com/photos/custombricks/] for making them
Tomorrow, November 22nd, will be the 86th annual Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.
When I think of the Parade 3 things come to mind: ginormous balloons, the Santa Float and Miracle on 34th Street.
This is my Lego version of the parade complete with the Santa float and Lego Man balloon.
A little about the build:
The Lego Man balloon is a lego flashlight with the pin and key chain removed.
He was then suspended above the vignette with fishing line and the lines were digitally removed.
Size is 16x32 studs
A special thanks goes to my friends husband, Michael, who suggested that I do a Lego Man balloon instead of a regular balloon design.

I just wanted to share a better shot of my version of 2000AD's Rogue Trooper, as shown in my last MOC, The Rogue Trooper Strikes.
It's probably the least 'pure' minifig I've ever created, but needs must as the Lego Company just don't produce the right items for this character.
So the custom items are:
Helmet and "u" clip thing from BrickArms,
Torso from customBricks, and
Head from Penzora
Now that I have the pieces, I'm sure I'll be building further Rogue Trooper themed MOCs in the future.
For those who don't know, Rogue Trooper was created by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons and first appeared in the British Science Fiction comic 2000AD (home of Judge Dredd). The series was hailed for its excellent artwork thanks to the craftsmanship of Gibbons and other artists such as Cam Kennedy, Colin Wilson and Brett Ewins. The character now belongs to game developers, Rebellion.
There is a very small number of these Marine figures left and they are now available for a very limited time.
Proceeds from the sale of this figure will be donated to the 2013 Creations for Charity fund raiser.
Figure is only available until 12/10/2013, or until supplies last.
It's that time of year again!
The fifth annual Creations for Charity is now accepting donations of Lego creations from anyone wanting to help raise money to buy Lego for underprivileged children.
From now until November 15th, anyone can donate a Lego creation for sale in the fundraiser. All you have to do is fill out a form and be prepared to ship the creation directly to the buyer.
For the budget builders, you can still choose to be reimbursed for the cost of making your creation, and as usual there are unique gifts to reward your help.
One of these unique gifts is this Marine Magnet designed by customBRICKS and made possible with generous donations from BrickForge and Print-A-Brick.
Kristi from customBRICKS contacted me a few weeks back and asked if he could use some of my Ghostbuster designs for new custom figures. Here's the end result. Another great collaboration! Who knows there may be more to come down the road. ;^)

MOC: Ambulance. A modern interpretation of the clas... oh, well, it's not really classic. But it's set number 1177, a Coca-Cola promo from 2000, by the same name.
With the original set being a Coke promotional, the update obviously needed to have some Coca-Cola features. So, in addition to the stickers on the doors, there's a couple of bottles and these two Cola cans in the passenger seat. They are custom printed items from customBRICKS.
I bought the awesome custom silver surfer from www.custombricks.net and thought about a build that would be nice to display him with. since I didn't have enough bricks to built the real deal I tried a chibi version with my limited 1x 2 plates in Galactus color. I kinda dig it. what about you?
