Here you can see the new mount/trim plate installed, and the grill to keep the subwoofer safe when the client loads up the hatch area for a road trip.

The factory Honda "subwoofer" doesn't hold a candle compared to the JL Audio 10W3 we are installing in it's place! Can you say BASS! :)

We start by removing the side panel of the Pilot. This allows us to work on the factory enclosure are and add some sound control product.

Another angle of the trim plate and subwoofer mounted with it's grill in place.

In order to accommodate the deeper subwoofer, we fabricated a spacer ring. You can also see the sound control product we placed inside and outside the enclosure area.

Here you can see the mounting ring for the subwoofer to space it out to the factory panel. We will make a plate to match up the the ring, which the subwoofer will mount to, and give us a finishing plate to integrate the new woofer into the vehicle cosmetically.
