This is the final ring for which I made a sample from copper earlier in my stream. The rose quartz that the customer requested doesn't show up as pink as expected against the silver, although the mystic gray quartz does help distinguish a bit of the shade.
Sterling silver yoga inspired charms with hand wrapped gemstones of rainbow moonstone, smoky quartz, and turquoise. Beautiful combinations!
I was asked if I could make one of the bases for my mini box bags into just a box.
It has a custom dark stain with faux finish giving it a wonderful patina. Little brass finials act as decorative feet. It has a tiny brass piano hinge. And the inside is lined in a dark blue velvety flocked material.
The box is about 1 1/2" square and a little under an inch tall with the feet.
(To me, the box looks a bit skewed in this photo, but it's really not!)
This is a custom order for a feltscape that measured about 3 by 2 feet, which is the biggest size feltscape I've ever worked on so far.
This was commissioned by Yami, a photographer who is going to use this feltscape we called "Cuddly Forest" for taking pictures of newborn babies :)
If you are in Florida you can find her at: www.yamscreations.com/
The whole process was really enjoyable and I will be excited if I get to work on a big scale like this in the future!
As usual everything id hand sewn from A to Z and it's an original design by me, Hiboucards :)
Feel free to contact me if you are interested in a custom work!
Funny story...this was a custom order by a girl, living in Paris, trying to learn English. Ask me how many emails went back and forth before we got the details straight! At least I hope so. I'm waiting on final approval from these photos!
Stones have been removed. I'll clean them up and will be melting down the ring.
These pieces were/are family heirlooms belonging to a customer. I am reworking them. Taking them apart to create several pieces of jewelry that will be Christmas gifts. The finished pieces will incorporate the stones and some of the metal.
2 switch plates arrived yesterday, 2 more are on their way!
Before covering with mosaic goodness, these plates need to get sanded and scratched up a bit to make the glass stay put. I'll also cover them with a primer mixture of glue and water. Once all of that is dry, I can get to work creating some mosaic goodness!
