Happy Caturday :-)
The lads don't care much for blankets, but are hoping that these cushions will be acceptable :-)
(enjoying what were once our living room chairs)
I saw something I liked and tried to crack the pattern, unfortunately I couldn't do it but this is what came out of it.

Scouting the archives again, surely the weather has to change soon. Have a great day and weekend folks ;0) HFDF
I spotted this beautiful cushion in our local hardware store back in August. I'm hoping they still have one in stock as I'm going to buy it for my mother for Christmas, she collects Owl stuff. It would be quite expensive to post to the UK but as luck would have it Martin is going over to England next month on the car ferry to visit family & friends so he can deliver it & my Dad can hide it away until Christmas day. HWW & HEoM!
A medium shrub, perhaps to 4m, coming into full flower now. This is one for the honeyeaters and bees too. A very popular garden plant.
when I saw this cutie in the shop, I just had to take a photo. I wish I could have taken a shot like this. bunnies are so sweet...
This is part of a handmade cushion with lots of colours and textures. It also had zips, velcro, laces, buttons. My Mum had Alzheimers and she spent hours exploring the cushion. It gave her restless hands something to do and she was also interested in it as an object. My Mum died a few years ago. I kept the cushion for a while because it's stuffed with happy memories.
As I have said previously, my dominant Robin is more forthcoming than previously. He seems to have no fear of me even though he is exercising a degree of caution. Here he is perching on my garden chair cushion and I am struck how it really shows how small he is.
This is such a lovely pose.
It can be symbolized in so many ways to tell someone that you love them, holding their heart close to you or that your own heart is broken and needs a cushion.

The cushion was my most amazing gift, from my neighbour. When I saw it yesterday, my initial reaction was that she had bought a cushion with a picture that looked like Bella. Then I realised - it IS Bella! I’d sent her some photos at various times & she had chosen two of them to be printed, one each side, for a cushion. Such a thoughtful gift. I kept it hidden from Bella until this morning so I could take photos of her reaction to it.
Happy Caturday. Enjoy your New Year celebrations.

No, Daisy - the new winter cushions are mine! I treated myself to some new furry cushions. Before I could even take the old cushions out of the room, Daisy was claiming the new ones. Typical cat behaviour!
I'm sorting old photos and posting some interesting ones. This image was uploaded to Flickr on Feb. 10, 2020.
Thank you to everyone who visits, faves, and comments.
These start out being white, then salmon pink then darkening with age. Usually found near beech trees, from Maine to Florida. This aged cushion mushroom was found at the Culberson Woods State Nature Preserve in it's wet Beech Forest.
Cushion pieced in AMH fabric rainbow with a grey Moda Bella solid as the background. Pattern is a modified version of the Swift Wreath by Nightingale Quilts. I used 8 different colours of 40wt Aurifil corresponding to the coloured quadrants for the quilting.
