** I took this shot tight against the base of Whitby's Harbour wall. I thought the way the wall curved out towards the sea was quite interesting . However you may not agree

THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT TO MY STREAM.

I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL IF YOU COULD NOT FAVE A PHOTO WITHOUT ALSO LEAVING A COMMENT .

Great Egret

It’s true that great egrets have all-white plumage, but they do flash a few colors, especially during breeding season. Besides their white bodies, they have black legs and orangish-yellow bills. During breeding season, they develop a bright green patch on their faces between their eyes and their bills, according to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

Happy Macro Monday everyone :)

This is ... take 3 Christmas baubles, and play, whilst trying to keep calm, when they don't behave :)))

An unused photo I took for the MacroMondays theme “curves”.

Part of a painted temporary fence of a canal around a construction site in the center of Amsterdam with the shadow of a bike.

The curves of the Yellowstone River around Calcite Springs at the base of Bumpus Butte along with the complimenting curls and curves of this ponderosa pine tree root along the cliff caught my eye.

Enjoy this last weekend of April!

We've gone from low 50's early this week to 80's this weekend. A/C tested and working good....

Deutscher Dom

Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin
